How about adding the Banker and Merchant Assistants to ESO+ subscription

The Craft Bag is the main feature of ESO+ so how about adding more quality of life enhancements to the monthly subscription like the Banker and or Merchant Assistants to make up for the lack of DLC for subscribers. The old DLC as part of the subscription is no longer of importance now that there is a Gold edition of the game for new buyers and Morrowind being excluded from being treated as DLC is another such reason ESO+ needs a few more added values to keep with the $15/month subscription.

Great idea. Not so sure anyone who spent a lot of money buying them already, would be happy.

As a sub from the beginning - no - but a new assistant like say a tinkerer with repair cart would be a nice addition to the upcoming boost subs get from Homestead.

i am generally against the idea of taking something currently allowed for one set of users and just handing it over to another group. Some will see that as "losing" what they paid for when they bought the banker and the merchant.

There is so much new that can be added, lets always look to first adding something new rather than just reworking what is already in play - especially if doing so can cause consternation.

ESO+ is already a good deal just as it stands; it doesn't "need" any additional "added values" "to keep" it with anything.

If they decide to throw in some added perks to make subbing even more attractive, then great. If they throw us a new dungeon or two, or a very short quest line, or a freebee pet or costume piece, any damn thing they drop on the Crown Store as "DLC" to "compensate" us for the perceived inequity of the last few quarters then that;s more than enough. Because, and say it with me here kiddies, "It's not about the quality, it's just about the math..."

You should probably list what you think actually makes ESO+ today a good deal for new subscribers. The Craft bag is great but right now that's really the only thing of value you're getting for the $15/month ($180/year). The old DLC is no longer of value to subscribe for and there's no new planned DLC for the first half of this year.

You have to keep in mind that most people who have the money to spend on the sub already bought these

If they don't want to add something like the Banker or Merchant to ESO+ due to people already paying for those features they could do something with Housing like offer some form of additional bank storage in the house, something Housing should of had to begin with.

No. Many of us already purchased one or the other and would not benefit from this, would actually lose $$$ as a result so no.

Would be more interesting to have a new one that accesses guild store or guild bank.

Or I could buy them with the crowns from my sub, along with a few more slots for mules and say adios to a sub.

How about just buy em with your sub crowns for 5,000 a piece.

Being a subscriber isn't some special thing folks. It's just an optional way to play and access things for you

Same could be said...let ppl buy the crafting bag...

Since some of us already bought these assistants and are kind of displeased at the LACK of functionality, maybe ESO+ could add some functionality to them.

Maybe for an ESO+ subscriber a banker can also access guild banks.

perhaps nothing as expensive as an assistant, due to the fact that those people who bought them already would be getting the shaft...just a "trinket" item..maybe every quarter give us a new piece of furniture for our house...along the lines of the "loyalty pets" we once used to get

Okay, @NewBlacksmurf, I finally agree about the craft bag. It's the only real value to my sub, and I see the math is far in favor for buying crowns, then buy DLC. No question, I would leave my sub happily if we could buy a craft bag. But since we have to pay for chapters, the bag alone is not enough to keep a sub. I'll go back to mules, PITA that they are.

Lol how about no? Buy them with the crowns you get.

To get round the "already bought them" problem. Why not make it so that ESO+ members who buy the banker and trader get the added bonus of their banker allowing guild store access, and their trader allowing for repairs?

Why? I bought all of the DLC months ago but I recently started subbing where it was offered free. Same concept I would say.

One of the assistants costs 5K crowns to buy and 5500 crowns can be purchased on sale for less than $25. ESO+ is up to $180/year if you pay month to month.

I have no desire for these, so they would be just another non-value-add for for me. I pay $180 a year for access to four paid DLC. ESO has continued to take my money without delivering this for one quarter so far, and now they have unilaterally determined that my $180 a year pays for two DLC instead. They just devalued the sub by 50%. Adding two assistants I don't even care about isn't going to bring that value back to 100%.

    @esotoon

I think the important or actually most important thing is that a subscriber isn't some special customer.

If there is an offer made to a subscriber than that same offer should apply to a customer who buys said item as everyone is a paying customer in this context

So much so that buying crowns should technically apply the same benefits but limited to a timeframe closely aligned with 1500/30 days

Subscribers really get easily pi**ed when they don't have "free access" to all QoL things or DLC contents and always want more.

I don't see why not. If you already own them, then you keep them even when not subbed to ESO+, kind of like already owning all the limited DLC.

That would be no use for me since I already have them.

As an ESO+ member, I would like to see this but I agree that there are a lot of people who have bought them and it would be unfair to suddenly give them to others without some recompense.

I think both are limited anyway - I need a banker who lets me use the guild bank/store and a merchant who can repair my gear.

I don't get the 'people already have them' logic. Many ESO+ members use their sub crowns to buy the DLC. The only difference here is that you would have already bought it. It's also a bit like saying items shouldn't go on sale cos I paid full price. I have ESO+ and both assistants.
