Yeah, having seen a more detailed description of the class, I agree. At the time, though, all we had to go off of was Sleet Storm's animation, a very vague description of Sleet Storm, and the bear ult.EldritchPenguin wrote: »I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there was a damage morph and a defensive morph.makeumrage wrote: »That "ice wall" is sleet storm.

Sounds defensive yea, but sounds like it also will put out a decent annount of damage. Like a sorcs hurricane on steriods.
Hell, I would be even less surprised if they made the Warden come out on top in several roles (DPS and healing, for example) right after release. It doesn't have to be by much, just enough for the min-maxers to say that it's the top dog. After that, they'll gradually reduce the Warden's power to bring it more in line with the other classes.
I doubt the warden will be a top damage dealer. From the looks of it, the class will be heavier on healing and tanking than on damage, more like a templar.

Rich Lambert stated that he hopes people can make a proper pure bow dps out of the class.

That's one option, sure, but I plan on going frost tank myself.

Too bad the bear will most likely do physical damage. It would be awesome if there was a morph where it did magic damage.

Really hoping they add a cold damage morph to the bear. Polar bear maybe fit the theme ? I really want to get as much damage out of the bear as a magicka spec. (Like the DK leap ultimate they added fire to)
I think it'd be fair to add it to the insta revive bear morph. Like if the bear can magically revive it can do magic or cold damage
Although i'd love to have it on the execute. Stamina have lots of executes already

There are only two.
-NBs Killers blade
- 2H executioner
Mag builds have
- Mages fury
- RD
- Impale

PI
and all DW skill line is slightly executive.
The problem is that there is no magicka weapon execute. So magDKs cannot use any.

It would probably make the most sense to give the execute to the stamina morph imo. Insta revive morph with cold damage would be nice for all those magickas running necropotence.

What do you mean? The Bear is one of the Ultimates, which I assume either Stamina or Magicka builds can use, even if it sounds like something that will do Physical damage.
