The best add-on for managing Magplar DOT rotations

At the moment I am using Srendarr but I can't get it to co-operate with my rotation. After a but of fiddling I managed to get it to show my Blockade of Fire uptime but i'm still missing Purifying Light, Ritual of Retribution, Blazing Spear, etc.

You just need to add those names in there. I find srendarr to be the best because it fits my playstyle, but there are other addons that show you numbers instead of visual bars. Like LUI or FTC and such others.

AUI once set up does quiet nicely to display all your active dots on a target.

Yep, ActionDurationReminder is pretty darn good. Setting it up is clunky as you ahve to go into options and type in the ability name for each thing you want to track.

Latest version of Srendarr tracks Ritual, and now accurately tracks spear without the problem of timers starting when you started the ground target. It starts the timer when the spear hits the ground and is 100% accurate without polling (no process-hungry code that sits there updating 10 times per second just to try and get "close" to accurate results).

The trick was to use the invisible internal ID generated by the EVENT_COMBAT_EVENT. There are often several hidden ID's in addition to the actual ID of the ability itself and it is one of those that frequently needs to be watched for to make certain timed AOE particularly work in buff trackers.

You can look at the code in AuraControl.lua to see how I did it in Srendarr, starting at line 740..
