The events do not need to be monthly. I would like to see more creativity though. So far it has been 2 events that were basically just doing what we already one and a third with boring quests. Need some special bosses, especially one instanced that is instanced and trial level.

The instanced trial level boss would have 3 levels, normal, vet and vet HM like the final boss in the trials and a chance to drop worthy gear.

I love the idea but there could be things like pirate invasions. Perhaps a dark anchor falling on cities instead of outside of towns as a distraction so that the ones outside the cities would have a greater chance of reaching its goal.

2 per month sounds enough to me. Events where all players can come from low to high lvl and have fun. Yeah, kind of social hub. I just hope Zen does them right, not some half-baked stuff what decrease the quality of the game, what happened in Rift. They could be awesome if done awesomely.

I enjoy the events and would be happy to see continuing work to improve the events themselves - but not the frequency. 3-4 events a year keeps them fun and special. That is plenty often enough. :)

    Not every month.

But every season. Witches Festival in autumn, New Life festival in winter... means we should have something for spring and sumething for summer as well. Which is what I expect we shall get in due time...
We know what the next two events are already. While it's not confirmed which way around they'll be, there's the Anniversary Cake event, which will most likely be in March again, and the Jester's Festival, which should occur at the end of April if they're following the calendar correctly.

I wish they had an in-game calendar system that reflects the lore appropriate months and days. This could be used to promote their holidays.

I've greatly enjoyed the events, but I would not like to have them that frequently.

Heck, I'm still sitting on a ton of motifs and recipes from the Witches' Festival, let alone the New Life.

I loved the New Life quests, they were really fun and I look forward to other events like that, but I also want free time to putter around and do other stuff.

Monthly is way too much. Halloween, then New life then a break for a couple of months is good.

I was tired of event status after the Witches festival. I was exhausted and burnt out after the New Life one and was very glad to have a break from them.

We could certainly use more events, but they definately shouldn't be monthly

Yes as long as it's in line with the witches festival, killing the boss of my choosing and not going to town to perform like an idiot. I did everything during the witches fest but I couldn't bring myself to do a 3rd quest in new life. A set spot for the mead vs. a memento was also a terrible idea.

Good ideas, like stardew valley, there's a calendar in game you can find out what day events coming up for the month.

Once in a quarter would be enough. It would be nice if they could add some kind of token system for festival loot though - that and a little bit of decoration for the cities (and housing).

Events and new zones are developed by same teams, so I'd prefer more attention on new content. Adding 1-2 new event in a year is enough, assuming they are repeatable.

SWTOR has the best event system I saw - repeatable once in a few months events, slightly different rewards for repeatable dailies each week (in ESO terms it could be, for example, this week double chance on motives in Gold Coast reward, next week double guild points rewards for fighters/undaunted/mages guilds, so on), plus rare once in a year events. You adjust your plans according current week rewards, so it is less repetitive.

But I think such systems should grow with time, new content first priority.

I've enjoyed the events that they've done so far, and I'm looking forward to the new ones that we'll see in the coming months, but I don't think having them as frequently as monthly is a good idea. An event every few months seems just right to me.

Didn't see any point in it other than the Motif. The activities themselves were...meh.. Run here press E...Run there press E. Dumb IMO. Make activities a challenge and memorable.
As far as this goes... Because of dumb luck on the timing of the festival and the timing of my spinal/nerve injury, for me the New Life Festival was great, because at the time there was really no other in-game activity (aside from fishing) that I was physically capable of doing. If it hadn't been for the New Life festival I would have ended up being absent from Tamriel for that whole time frame. So I'm very thankful for the design of the quests, and for the fact that each of them was different with its own flavour.
