Having recently returned to 1T I must admit I'm baffled at how living all the zones are with players. It's truly awesome and more events would only add to this feeling.

Witches Festival is an annual event; not monthly.

Monthly repeatable events would be cool, but I am also content with the seasonal events that come once a year.

Daily Pledges are so damn boring now lol. Once I have them done there is almost no motivation to do anything else and I'm at the point where researching traits takes a month.

    The struggle is real.

I think every three months would be enough. I dont want it to be always a festival, as it would cheapen the experience of them.

I don't think necessarily more, perhaps just 'better'?

The Witches Festival was fairly lethargic (compare that to other AAA MMOs and their festivals).
The New Life Festival was a lot more enjoyable, and a step in the right direction I think.

It's always a difficult thing though; they might be extremely limited with what they can and can't do, festival wise, due to the engine they're using. Who knows. But I suppose at the end of the day the old adage often holds true; 'if there's a will there's a way'.

I'm glad we have something, but always hopeful they'll run with what they've started now and keep expanding and growing them.
If you can be anything, be kind.

I enjoy them but I think there's enough of them as is (Jester thing in April, anniversary event, etc.). One every 2 or 3 months is fine.

I would be fine with maybe quarterly events, but I don't want the SWTOR system of events every month.

The issue I have with it is generally these events offer something of benefit for a limited time, meaning the events become mandatory gameplay and drawing you away from the core game.

I'd rather these stay to holidays or paced events so they feel more special and let people focus on the main game elements.

I think monthly would be too often. One per quarter (every 3 months) seems about right.

And hopefully more to do than the Witches festival. Less than 2 hours into that I had nothing left to do except farming skulls, which quickly proved to be pointless because so many other people were farming them that they were literally giving away the drops.

I know it was their first ever attempt at creating a festival, so it's understandable it was pretty basic but I hope they improve on it for next year. The New Life festival was much better, there was a much wider variety of things to do.

    Yes.

I think what we need is reasons to get out of the major cities and go explore some of the far off corners... So events like the witches festival that encouraged dungeon diving and the New life Festival which sent you all over the place.

You could just have a free item in the crown store that starts this monthly events and what those events are just changes every month or week even if you can create the quests.

Personally I'd like "secret daily quests", that are taken from random towns and cities over Tamerial. They wont be secret for long of course but perhaps people will leave Rawl'h and give traffic to areas that need it.

I'd like to see monthly events going on for a week, so there's something special each month, something everyone will group together to farm delves or world bosses.

I've felt exhuasted after every event so far - as a guild we did daily dolmen and delve grinds for the hollowjack event, daily WB grinds for the Wrothgar anniversary, and even though the New Life festival was mostly solo, I still found myself organising to make sure those who needed help got the Bergama achievement, which could be tricky for some people on a low level character.

I feel as though I have barely had time to recover between each tbh, and I'd relish a longer break between events. :)

Witches festival lasted a fair long while, New Life Festival also lasted a while, soon we get Jester's Day (which is already on the PTS), and more festivals await throughout the year after that I'm sure.

On top of that we get Orsinium 1 year birthday, IC birthday, soon the TG birthday and after that DB birthday.

It's not really the quantity that's missing here, it's more the quality. As much as I enjoy the seasonal festivals, something other than "double exp and grind for a handful of cosmetics" would have been nice.

Generally I enjoy the festival limited recipes, crafting motifs and achievements and titles, I'd definitely enjoy more of those in the future as well.

Wouldn't it be better to do what they already have with One Tamriel and make the core content worth playing without additional bonuses?

There will be a Jester's Event in April and the Anniversary Event too (which mostly involved the current dailies anyway) so there are more of them being planned all the time. We don't want all gameplay being taken up by festivals all the time just to get a rare recipe or a rare motif. Grinding often wears people down and makes players leave. Rare events serve to give a new flavour and attract people

Events are great but it's not content. It's just fluff to keep you busy for what, one day or 2 days and you are done. We need more content instead! bigger dlcs.

I seem to be the opposite of most people it appears. I really enjoyed the Witches Festival, more than New Life. I enjoyed the WF due to the fact I could grind/go about my business and still parktake in the event. NL was fairly boring, imo.

Though as I said, I acknowledge that I am in the minority and if most people enjoy the NL events, I don't blame them for designing more like them

Hit the wrong button. Should have been other.

Much bigger variety of dailies in all zones would be nice. I'm all for events like the witches festival, not necessarily on a monthly basis though. Then again, extra content is always welcome.

Not against events but I think 3-4 every year is ok. We had 3 events in a row and it was exhausting.

I really like the cake event last year. Nothing more than a cake and double xp - all I ask for

Although I love the little lore argument behind them, some hilarious ideas there -especially the New Life Festival- and I enjoyed playing those events, one or twice, they turned to be too farming based for my taste.
I would love to see more a little story line instead of grinding achievements and rewards that push to farm.

I agree I would like regular events but not constant events/festivals and I like the variety New Life Festival was amusing and the quests interesting where as the witches festival was farming (perfect since One tamriel had just been released) and from the PTS testing I have done with the upcoming Festivals I am really looking forward to them and glad that again they are different from the others.

I also like the Anniversary Events for the DLCs but would like a tad more variety in those

    Not every month.

But every season. Witches Festival in autumn, New Life festival in winter... means we should have something for spring and sumething for summer as well. Which is what I expect we shall get in due time...
