Nah not my Mag Sorc. My goal is to have three characters (all Sorcs) to play, with my Mag Sorc being my main.
Atm I have two Sorcs: my main Altmer Mag Sorc I always use and an Imperial Sorc. The Imperial Sorc used to my tank but looked ugly asf since that's what Vampirism does to you, so I converted her into a Stam Sorc.
Now I need to create my third character which will be a true Sorc Tank. Already deleted a Lvl 50 Stamplar so there's no going back lol.
Also I'm a Daggerfall Covenant player on all characters so yeah idk about doing that. Still you may find me negating for a group of AP farmers to get my Vigor/Caltrops in the future
The Nord DR doesn't amount to much, it's barely noticeable. The way it's stuck in the damage formula it's not the flat 6% as you'd think it should be.
If you're going to PVP I'd say Orc, their sprint passives are very good there. Otherwise Imp is a solid choice as well.
I'd also throw Redguard in for consideration. AR is still very useful.
Nord damage mitigation bonus is lower than it seems due to diminished returns . Imperial is simply the best for every class . More resources = easier and more effective tanking .

Boo u! They need to add alliance change already

This is unfortunate to hearTyvm for bringing this to my attention before I made a mistake!
Still I can't help but feel a bit sad that I'll miss out on the 20% Health Recovery.... normally that'd be totally useless but I was thinking about using Troll King to provide DPS in trials with a powerful HoT via Echoing Vigor. A 20% Health Recovery buff would be noticeable on my own character when Troll King is applied.
Now I gotta choose between Imperial and Orc.... Imperial may be the better choice as it'll be mainly for PvE. This is a tough decision lol.

You probably want to be a Vampire though . 10% Magicka Recovery is nice and Undeath passive is amazing . Saved me lots of times even though it gets it's share from diminishing returns as well .

I'm stuck between Imperial, Nord, and Orc right now for my Sorcerer tank.
Imperial
• 12% Max Health
• 10% Max Stamina
• 10% chance for melee attacks to heal for 6% Max Health
Nord
• 9% Max Health
• 6% Max Stamina
• 2078 Cold Resistance
• 6% Damage Reduction
• 20% Health Recovery
Orc
• 6% Max Health
• 6% Max Stamina
• 5% Healing Recieved
• 4% Melee Attack Damage
• 12% Reduced Sprint cost
• 10% Increased Sprint Speed
• 20% Health Recovery
This would be for both PvP and PvE. Also I will become a Vampire.
I am leaning toward Nord atm because of that damage reduction, but the benefits of being an Imperial (high max stats) or Orc (lots of other bonuses and better damage for Flurry if I backbar it) make it tough to decide.
What do you all think?

Sorc tanks are very good if in the right hands, and with @Vaoh being able to solo vet ICP, WGT and CoS I think he'll be more than capable.

My Stamsorc is a nord and is pretty much complete beast. The damage reduction paired with the health recovery is awesome.
You cannot go wrong with an Imperial.
And don't listen to bad tanks who say Nord damage reduction passive is useless. Zero is useless, nothing is useless, none is useless. Not having a skillpoint invested in a passive is useless, not having a skill slotted is useless. 6 % is not useless, 3% is not useless, 0% however is truly useless.
