I am having trouble deciding on a few things for my new character. I know i'm going to be a redguard stamina based class but I cant decide between stamina nightblade or a stamina sorc. Also I haven't decided between 2 handed and bow or dual wield and bow. I am mostly a solo pve player but do play pvp from time to time and plan on playing the endgame content. P.S I play on the Xbox EU server.

Does it matter if you want to play 2h or dual wield? No, it doesn't because you can play what you want and there are no restrictions.

I think Stamina Sorcs are pretty strong right now, don't know about Nightblades.

Nevertheless, what's your question in the end?

If you wanna do both PvE and PvP, better to lvl all 3 weapon skills. DW + Bow for PvE, and 2H is needed for PvP

As for class, that depends on your playstyle.

I say just pick one of those classes and play it for a while. If you enjoy it, then keep playing it for as long as you keep liking it. Then you can create something else and see if it works for you; we can't really make any decisions for you since everyone has their own exact preferences.

Actually Dual wield gets 1 more trait bonus than 2h, which kind of is a downfall especially if the sets are good enough. This is why 2h just needs to count as a 2 piece per set imo.

Stam sorc has very good passive healing and I recommend it over stam nb especially as a newish player.

The healing is great topped off with crit surge if you go the DW- bow route which saves you from using pots in places like vma.
Nightblade are fun too but take more skill and knowledge to master in both pve and pvp (imo - flawless stamblade here)

Stamina nightblades are neat, though may take more skill to handle well then stamina sorcs. I at least found my stamina sorc to be much easier to be successful with then my stamina NB, even though I much prefer the sneakyness of the nightblade...

Of course, I personally would ask, are you more into red blood magic effects or blue lightning and purple arcane magic effects?
(Or for that matter, prefer holy magic or fire/poison, then you may also wish to consider templars of dragonknights)
Because all combinations are viable and you can make each work, so its up to you...

So, consider what kind of redguard you want to be.
    - Prefer "assassins creed" hashashin style sneaky murderer and go for thieves guild and dark brotherhood? Then nightblade.
    - Prefer in-your-face sword singer / weapons master style desert warrior? Sorceror, and concentrate on weapon skills and fighters guild with extra lightning power and a bit of other magic as support skills.
    - (or if you like holy warrior, pray to the gods and go stamina templar; and for desert bandit marauder, dragonknight flame/poison skills would go nicely with redguard, for the traditional burning of despoiled towns)

Also, the 2H or DW question is sort of linked to the class question - DW does not have a gap closer move, so you may want to use that on classes which do have something to compensate (NB, T, and to a lesser extent DK), while if you go sorc, you may prefer 2H as sorcs themselves have no real charge move in their class skills, so you may want to have the one from 2H.

Yes, true. When using DW, you have 12 slots, so you can wear the 2-piece monster set with the two 5-piece sets. I switch off between roaming around with DW and 2H, depending on my mood. With the 2H, I like that I can take a normal add out with one or 2 hits, or smack an add, that have 60-70k hp, with one sneak, from behind, hit. Other times, I feel like blasting those adds or bosses with blinding flurries from the DW and seeing the proc from the monster set. Also, Stamsorc is the talk of the town for easy breezy through vMA or trials. I may create one and see what all the hub bub with the Stamsorc is all about.

If you plan to play a nightblade or stamplar with bow or dual wield, you should go asap to Cyrodiil and unlock Vigor. With it you are completely self-sufficient, without it's really hard to sustain health, especially when dealing with pve bosses.
To unlock Vigor while not being exceptionally good in killing, respec to a pvp healer and stick to large groups, doing daily quests. I have both bow stam NB and sorcerer but prefer NB since it's a one-shot killer in most situations, especially with 1T offensive sets (I use full 5 pcs. Viper and Red Mountain together). Sorcs however have 3 skill bars which makes them more versatile.
