Agree with what @Integral1900 said above.

Some sort of display ability for weapons or armour sets would be the only thing I might like, just to be able to sort them all out & see what I have (11 characters so it all gets a bit confusing) but quite ok with what is offered.

No general storage? Fine with me. I am an utter magpie so this stops me just dumping more crap in a box. (Had all the houses in Skyrim & all where filled with junk.)

And as for the cost of the larger houses? Either grind for gold (seriously not that hard) or pay real £. No one is forcing you to buy this, and as it is a FREE update that people have been demanding for ages, maybe just enjoy it.

* Hang on, just realised OP (& others) asked for xp just for sitting in your home. Seriously?! Not for doing ANYTHING but just sitting in your home?! Really?! Ffs.

Well, looks like ESO is in pretty good spot if there are complains that it is the worst of the best. Tho it feels like its more severe complaining than if ESO just was part of that bottom 90% of MMOs without any housing.

Still don't get why people complain about housing or anything for that matter that appears in the CS, yet in the same breath still state they're still going to purchase it or purchased it. By purchasing it, you're telling ZoS everything is rosy. Your cash doesn't tell ZoS anything different from those who are purchasing it because they are happy buying into it. This isn't a dig at those who are happy to be buying the house in their current state, but if you're going to gripe about the product as a whole, then it's usually a good idea not to buy it.

Or maybe I'm missing a new consumer trick and I'm the one with the issue. Stranger things have happened.

Eh, this isn't Skyrim online.

This would devalue crafting items and kill the economy even more so than BiP gear from 1T. Besides, farming & writs accumulate more than enough stuff.

Now, what I would like to see are Guild Halls with most of what you said. A personal house with a shop just sounds dumb af. However, I have read Banker & Merchant(ones from crown store) can be placed in the house.

At this point Im not even sure if I want to park my characters in the house. Not when it would be more reasonable to continue parking them at the Bank right next to all the Crafting Stations, the Writ Quest Drops, the Vendors and the Stables. It would be extra work for me to either port to the nearby town (which I will have to run to a nearby wayshrine wasting more time) or running across town to all of these things since the house sits in an awkward part ot the city thats not close to any of those locations.

Daggerfall and fallout housing will not compare to this in the slightest and how are they mmos? Ultima was cool, but I hated, i mean hated walking through areas and coming across a sea of player housing. I dont understand why people find fault and cant be happy.

They need to start somewhere and as they said themselves, it's a starting point. Its not even released yet and people are already mad. 3k-4k housing items, through crafting or achievment which is a great idea. Um not an achievement person but those people exist. Let them get something cool! Get ganked 100 times in ic gor a fishing achievement? Reward for you! Yes, some will be crown store *gasp* but the devs need healthcare, pension, and coke money.

I guess it would be really cool if you click on a bed, you slept. Ok, until then you can just use emotes. /sleep, /sweep, /rake /grind /twerk ect. It does the same thing. "But this game sucks if I cant click on the bed and see my toon go under the sheets." I dont know, at times a have a handle of whisky and pass out on the floor. Ok cool, I could put bottle all around the house and /playdead. Just get creative. You can still flip around items and put them anywhere. Functional as a sandbox, no but its a good start.

Why not create a list anf poll and see if there is a desire for it?
