I'm not a grammar or spelling ***, but something that is glaringly obvious, a lot of people have issues spelling the word "ridiculous". I'd see the issue if "rediculous" even sounded like the word it's attempting to be, but it doesn't. It's akin to those who pronounce 'specific' as "pacific".

i fixed it sorry english isnt my first language nor is it what is set on my computer so sometimes i miss a couple words

but what did that even have to do w the topic

Lol Dont worry @LiquidSchwartz he specifically said hes not a grammar or spelling *** before he started complaining about grammar and spelling, so its clearly not a problem.

I thought the enlightenment was supposed to be a catch up mechanic, so people behind the cap could catch up quicker. It doesn't make sense to still get enlightenment once you reach the cap.

And at what point will the CP's reach the final cap?

Surely they wont raise the cap to a point where you can have every CP tree maxed out. That would be pretty lame!!

Truth is this would make me leave the game and many others, I'm at 427 cp at the moment and gain mostly 1cp a day sometimes 2 if I put enough work. Why make it slower ?? and I get it, you acquired 900cp but how bout you go to the EU server or NA which ever you have 0 CP and lets see you try get to 900 now, Not with the easy past glitches and hotfixes in the past year's that got you to where you reside now.

holy god nvm almost all of you just call me an elitist or dont have positive feedback at all. :|

This is ridiculous you can get to max CP after a couple months of dedicated playing..
People expect hand outs and to be carried through content just BC they're max lvl
Maybe if it was harder to get there they might actually be good enough to actively contribute instead of paying their entire savings of gold to get carried through vmol
Like I'm not an elitist and I'm glad there aren't great people at the game BC everyone is differently skilled but like it took me forever to get to 501 when cp came out.. I actually had to learn a ton about playing and I'm glad for it
All I'm saying is please remove enlightened or something BC this is just stupid
People who don't play this game don't take it serious anymore BC of how easy the game has become (not saying all of it is easy but everything up to endgame)

I can get around 30cp in a day with casual playing which takes 20 days grinding to achieve end game (next patch) imo is a lot of effert to give for a game already...

Please....no. it takes me 848k per cp now. It's horrifically slow when you get over the 700cp mark.

Buff cp gain and buff cp cap.

Why do you care though if you've already earned over 700 points? The current cap is 561 and the new Update 13 cap will be 600, which is still vastly under the number you must have. So what do you care how long it takes you to earn more if you can't use them.

You can't even calculate it like that, though, because the more CPs you have the more XP it takes to get the next one. So if you can get 30 CP in a day now, soon you'll only be getting 20 CP in a day doing the same stuff, and then soon it will be only 10, and so on.

Speed up the CP please. Every time I feel I'm catching up with CP, ZOS releases a new update that puts the bar even higher. CP gives a massive advantage in pvp when used right. Being behind forever because I can't play 8 hours a day is not fun. I wouldn't mind so much if not the fact that 90% people that are left playing eso are veteran players maxed out in every way possible.

In my opinion a game like this should be geared towards the veterans of this game i understand they have to make it easier for new people but wheres the love for the people who put years in on the game?

Veterans won't purchase another copy of the game and make multiple subscriptions. If ZOS will go all the way for veterans, it will isolate itself and population will never grow. I don't like games that are casual, but giving more chance for the new players is the way to go. One Tamriel is the best that could happen to ESO. All of my friends quit the game pretty fast, because they've noticed that catching up to other players will take them months grinding that is not fun at all. We couldn't quest together, we couldn't do pvp. Now with One Tamriel my buds got back into the game, and we're really enjoying it, despite the huge level gap between us. While I'm almost max level, I wish ZOS would make it easier for new players. More players is a win for us all.

Um... looks at my multiple accounts... Well actually...

Despite me being a veteran (I've been playing since PC launch) who has multiple accounts, which in theory could be used to somewhat disprove the points you're making... I'm clearly an exception to the rule (I'm peculiar). You're absolutely right.

There may be some flaws to a catchup mechanism (one being that it's very easy for someone to get to relatively high CP while still not really knowing how to do anything but grind), but it's pretty clear that overall it's a very good idea for the game (and for ZOS) to have a robust catchup mechanism. Any game ever will always have some churn amongst the veterans of the game. No matter how much is done to keep the veteran players happy, some will always leave for one reason or another. If a game is going to last, it always needs to be attracting new players, and getting as many of those new players as possible to stay. A catchup mechanism is important for that. As a rule it's cheaper to keep an existing customer than it is to attract a new customer, but that doesn't mean that you ignore new customers, because no matter what you'll never be able to keep all of your existing customers, and even if it were possible your revenue stream would be stagnant.

Gaining cp as well as leveling Trade-skills,...are entirely trivial.

Training gear + ambrosia, + event double exp +enlightenment. + anchor grinding...

You can eliminate any 2 of the above variables and come out with like 20-25 Cp + each night..i mean,.. I did it.. And im far from "the best"

Note: no i didnt sit there mindlessly for 16 hours.. Takes considerably less...
