Seriously. The game already has too many issues. Now we can't even communicate with each other while playing. If you're trying to kill the game you're doing a fantastic job. Step it up. We expect better.

DDOS attacks?

- Who cares what's causing it. That simple fact is, it is broken. There are literally entire corporations dedicated to preventing DDOS attacks. Maybe they should start getting some DDOS protection instead of throwing their hands in the air and say "whelp, oh well." I'm tired of excuses and the no ETA garbage. It's old. Many of the oldest and best contributing players have moved on because the game just continues to move from one broken state to the next. Take the servers down for a week or a month and fix the game.

Not to mention changing skills has been broken for months. Tired of having skill menu pop up out of nowhere afterwards. (PS4/NA)

My friend and I usually resort to party chat (PS4 NA).

With us, it appears that when two pairs of already grouped players get grouped up in dungeon finder, the server suddenly has to deal with two group leaders. So it 'disbands' one group and places two players back in the dungeon group as individuals with the remaining pair, one of which retains group leadership role.

The disbanded group also get kicked out of their old group chat and one, or both, of them suddenly lose group chat from their available chat options. You can go to area chat but not everyone is in there and you also remain in area chat when you leave the dungeon, which is a pain anyway.

So as soon as this happens, we use the PS4 party chat and stay there for the rest of our session.

I'm on xbox. And the voice servers don't work at all. Chats just vanish. And let's not forget about the entire server getting disconnected in groups of player faction. What is that about?

My point here is what is the incentive to continue to pay for a product that doesn't work and continues to offer promises it just can't seem deliver.

I love this game. I love playing it. I love running a big guild. I love my guildies. But ZO$ is turning the most lore rich and potentially best mmo into a mess of no ETA excuses, broken skills, broken servers and ZERO customer support.

Playing last night, middle of a raid. Voice chat just vanished. It's 4am. Far from prime time. Come on.

Voice chat fails several times a day on PS4NA now (Started with the DDOS attacks a few days back - Chat would go, then everyone got kicked. Now, it's mostly just chat that fails)

they're just going to tell you to delete your local save file that will require you to setup all options again for the game

In extremes, you'd delete both your save file off the console and xbox live as well as your xbox live profile.
Hard reset the console and add your profile back.

OR

You could just invite ppl to party chat and avoid it all together
occasionally use text chat otherwise (and I don't like text chat) but its a reasonable work around

Voice chat also randomly starts cycling on and off. Best case, you are stuck in that chat and can't leave. Worst case, you can't hear anyone talking at all, just a repeated DING! DING! DING! every six seconds as the game notifies you each time it logs you in to chat again.

This has hit randomly since two Fridays ago, with the DDOS attack. Tickets have told me to update my child permissions and reinstall the game, but it happens to a very large percentage of the server at the same exact time when it occurs.

PSN NA same exact symptoms, with everyone I play with - at exactly the same time. So it's hardly likely to be on the game client side of things...

Yeah. Of it was on my end it wouldn't be happening server wide. ZO$ broke something. They need to fix it. Can't play the game if you a cant communicate effectively.

that works unless you are in guild chat trying to play in Cyrodil or a Trial. You can only have 8 people in a PSN chat.
But yes, area/guild chat on PS4 has been having issues for a while now. Not even all the time, just at the worst possible times! Lol It is extremely frustrating, especially when we have to do deal all of the other glitches and exploits on top of this.

Xbox NA here: along with the voice chat broken, is anyone else experience the game freezing right before you kill a player or npc? This especially happens in pvp but has only started recently.

I thought that was "working as intended" since it happens so often it has to be a feature. But seriously, yes it happens all of the time during Prime Time in both PvE and PvP. I have given up on Cyrodil after 7pm. It is simply unplayable

I have an extensive library of games that I could be playing, but I love MMO's and the people I play with here. But this is getting really old.

ZOS needs to realize we don't care about concept art new content coming in 9 months... We care about them fixing the game they have us playing... Maybe keep changes in the PTS for a little longer and work out them kinks ZOS...

Yeah chat's been broken since friday the 13th of this month. tbh these devs act like there is no problem, because i have yet to see a person of power acknowledge this issue and address a time frame for it to be fixed. Yo ZOS this is Grand Over Lord CripWalkin STS of the sexy time slayers.... I wanted to say to y'all, quit smoking mids, it's bad for your health!

For real though who ever these people are out there calling the shots look at yourselves in the mirror before you sit and brain-storm about whether y'all should continue to tickle yourselves or actually man up and legitimatley solve the issues at hand. you got a whole slew of people who work for the company and poured their heart, sweat blood, and tears into creating this potential master piece of a game and you just ruin it almost every update with extemely poor desicion making and laughable excuses.... god bless your souls.

if money is the reason y'all do not care to fix anything then name your price and we will see if what ever is left of the community here can rally that sum together( cause apparently y'all don"t make enough? lmao). if not, just continue to flush all the potential down the toilet because that's exactly what your actions are portraying.

So what's up Zos y'all got any tricks up your sleeve to pull yourselves out this hole? I hope so, because if not this game is gonna flat line with no pulse, but that does not matter huh? y'all act like you got no hearts anyways.
