Inner Light (Mage ability) or Flames of Oblivion? Which one and why?
.... I have to admit, the devs do listen to reason, if not to the forums. Thank you for "nameplates", a welcome addition to immersion, as well as the text chat box for PS4, which only comes on the screen when I need it too, and helps this gameplay SO MUCH MORE then without it. THANK YOU for the additions. Very much appreciated.

✭✭✭Inner Light- 100%. Inner Light gives you max magicka, spell crit, magicka regen, and an additional max magicka from the Mage's Guild passives. You can also flip it on to get "Empowered" on your next attack.
Flames of Oblivion used to be worth something... but now it's garbage. It can't possibly compare to all the benefits that the Mage's Guild ability gives you. Not even worth slotting, bud.Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

✭✭Inner light on your front bar and flames of oblivion on your back bar. Loosing the magicka on your back bar isn't a big deal because you only stay there for a few seconds to renew a few dots.2 -

It used to be an AoE but was changed due to issues with the client supposedly or at-least that's what it eluded to in 1.6.5 notes.
