Due to the shadowrend monster helm which summons clanfear and does basicly same amount of damage maw of infernal BUT the clanfear even reduces enemy damage by 15%

On top of that the one piece bonus is also better 129 recovery compared to maw of infernals 1000 damage.

BUT WAIT THERES MORE !!!

Maw of infernal has 8% chance to proc on LIGHT ATTACKS .

Clanfear procs 10% on any damage you do .

    Forgot to add buff maw of infernal

    I say make the 1 piece give u 1200 weapon/spell crit . Atleast it would make it more appealing

    tbh I think both of these sets should keep their summons up constantly, and have a chance to make them do extra stuff with your own attacks or some such.

    But yeah, the way they are right now is silly.

    That Daedroth can actually proc quite a lot...

    We had to ask one of our members to stop wearing it for our weekly casual normal Trials. Its fire breath was constantly interfering with the tank's view.
    Why be normal when you can be better?

    You can play line of sight around daedroth. But clanffear cant even be targeted by players.

    Still though reduce enemy damage by 15 percent with a higher proc rate.

    Why would i go for the daedroth lol ?

    Only sets that are extinct are those 3 piece sets that used to drop in dungeons.

    I want them back ZOS, and I want them to REMAIN 3 Piece sets, not this 5 piece BS stuff like what you did with the Craglorn Trial sets.

    @Ihatenightblades Not more than 688 weapon crit. That is the most a 1 pc should offer on a monster helm and is typical for any single slot of set bonus. 1200 would be OP.

    Wait, which 3pc sets? Willpower, Agility, and Endurance? You pull those from the Imperial City's treasure troves.

    I actually still have a relics of the rebellion set and arms of the ancestors. Both need a huge buff though. 1600 armor pen won't cut it for a 3pc.

    Completely agree. I still hold on to the 2 of 3 pieces of those sets I have in hopes they're reintroduced. That White Bow of Alinor gives quite a lot of penetration :)

    best use for maw of infernal set, is to use it in Banished Cell II last boss fight to troll your group.

    likewise, use selene set in selene last boss fight.

    Yes, they'd need a buff but still, more diversity never hurt.
