I've got over 5 million gold, all the achievements worth of furnishings, and 750+ CP...
There's nothing really I need to "prepare" for before the patch drops, like Sigtric said, I'll keep doing whatever feels fun by the time I get in game...

I have 6.3 Million in Gold in the bank, so I am set there.

So, pretty much playing the game as I always do. I do need to fire up the PTS and go tour the homes. I always seem to forget to do that.

Still, at least on console we will know a bit better what to expect in terms of how easy it is to find crafting materials, etc...

What I'll actually be doing is working on improving my alchemy skill - it's only level 28 as I've never felt the need for it before. Also, finishing the Tamriel Hero achievement, and making some gold. I've just reached 100k, the first time i've ever done so! Of course, i have to pay my guild fees next time i log on, which will take me below again... but i'll make it back up!

I didn't get involved with PTS, but i'm probably going to spend some time looking at what others have managed to cram in to their houses. I'm really hoping to have at least one of them set up to give the appearance of a home befitting a scatterbrained bookworm.

I still don't really "get" housing in an RPG without storage. I've been having fun decorating houses on the PTS and I think I'm actually going to enjoy it more when I'm gradually adding things as I obtain them instead of all in one go. But other than that it seems kind of pointless. So I'm not in any rush to get a house.

I'll unlock the free inn rooms on day 1, then start saving the 325,000g for Mournoth Keep which is the one I want. I've got about 12,000g right now and the most I've ever had is 20,500g so it's going to take me quite a while to get there. Who knows, my plans may change along the way.

(Or ZOS might give me the surprise of my life and make the crown store prices low enough that I can justify buying that house with crowns...and maybe they'll give me a free pre-release copy of TES VI while they're at it!)

Buffing my crafters. I (stupidly) split my hard crafts over two characters (one blacksmith, one clothier/woodworker). Now both of them are researching their butts off to max all crafts. I'm also hoarding mats that I used to sell and chasing random achievements for stuff from the accolades furnisher. #casualgoals.

Slowly gaining achievements. I probably won't buy a house right away (I'll probably get the inn) but I want to stretch out getting all the achievements first so I can feel really accomplished. Then spend my gold where it needs to be spent

And then 31st januari i play Conan Exiles until housing releases for ESO.

Atm trying for BSW inferno staff, got a lightning staff thus far... However, 10k gold per hour and enough heavy sacks to supplement node farming.

Up to 80k now. Also saving up temps etc.

The saving up for a nice place may take a while...

Early on I created a Breton NB Stamina ( I was a total noob I know ) I've been transforming her into magicka NB (thanks deltia's gaming) crafted julianos. Farmed a couple of nice divines Mother's sorrow pieces. Now, camping dolmens in Deshann for jewelry. Anyway, having tried Homesick on PTS, there's nothing to get ready. I'll buy the small home, place a candle in it and move on to farming mats for housing. Big big payday ahead!

I feel bad for you console folks. That wait is excruciating.

I plan to:

1. Farm gold on my thief every day. At the current rate, I should have enough to get a couple small houses at launch, or maybe a medium one.

2. Train up a couple of my crafters in secondary and tertiary crafts. I made the (apparent) mistake of splitting my crafting between characters, so now my woodworker is getting a crash course in blacksmithing and tailoring.

3. Spend the rest of the time decorating the Ebonheart Chateau on the PTS, because I know I will only be getting it on live if it is a reasonable amount of Crowns (which it likely won't be). Might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

First thing, earning gold. I have enough for my large primary "barracks", but I decided to give each character a smaller home as well. Secondly, I'm collecting raw mats, trying for some nirncrux, and hoarding surveys and treasure maps. Thirdly, I completing quests for access to the homes I want. Finally, I'm playing normally, running trials and character management.
