What exactly is the drop rate for furnishing plans from stealing?

I stole from (or murdered) 50 people in the hopes of getting even ONE furnishing plan but NOTHING. What exactly IS the drop rate????

Seriously, ZOS never tells and noone has spent the time to get a big enough sample size to draw any conclusions at all.
For that you probably would need way more that 1k kills, and you would also have to differentiate between drops from NPCs and looting containers (again way more than 1k) . Thus noone has really bothered as of yet, and probably wont bother for a while.

it's still PTS... the drop rate will be similar or maybe lower that(not only for those that you gain from stealing) for the provisioning recepis when it goes live.. could be wrong

Well I guess I know what I will be doing when the housing update goes live.
I will be spending my time looking in barrels, sacks, drawers, backpacks, dressers and every other possible container.
Knowing my luck ill find table blueprints but no chairs or 6 bed blueprints and nothing else.

After 100 bodies (you pick their pockets after they're dead) I'd say the answer is no...

I found 4 blueprints/patterns/etc from desks and wardrobes in 2 hours, but not other types of containers.

I never looted any from anyone I murdered or pick-pocketed. Mine were all found in furniture containers-dressers, desk, trunks etc.

I looted about 10 crates in one room and found 1 plan. It felt engouraging!

I guess that's not too bad. But it will be hard trying to furnish your home from random drops.

How many and what blueprints has everyone gotten so far?

I thought I saw somewhere that you get better odds of a plan dropping the more complete your crafting skills are. Is that true or was that master writs or something?

If true, then one thing I'm wondering is how motifs factor into it. Does each individual motif page increase your odds or do you have to complete the whole book before it has any effect?

Ooh, I hadn't seen the first part, on that the better your tradecraft, the better the Master Writ drop chance.

As for the motif factor, I'm sure HOPING the chapters count... They probably will make it easier on server calculations tho and just use achievements.
