Do unique items from overland sets only drop in Superior (blue) or can they also drop in Epic (purple)? I am really interested in specifically the jewelry since it cannot be upgraded.

Edit: Fixed color names.

Thanks. That is disappointing. I hope they will adjust that in the future.

You got them colors wrong ...

    Green - Fine
    Blue - Superior
    Purple - Epic
    Gold - Legendary

I think Purple jewellery can drop in overland sets if you are lucky enough.

I have been searching high and low for Seventh Legion's Conjured Oath-Band and have only seen it in blue. Never purple or green.

Zone sets can drop in Green, Blue, or Purple from Dolmens. If they can drop in Gold, I've never seen it happen. They can also be found in treasure chests (both normal and buried).

Some of the sets used to drop in in gold from Trials. off hand, I remember Knightmare and Shadowdancer did, though I don't know if that's still true.

You can also get gold jewelry from The Golden vendor in Cyrodiil each weekend. Though what she offers is semi-random, and very expensive.

For the standard pieces, but does this hold true for the unique named pieces as well? I have only come across them in blue. The unique pieces come with different traits than the standard lot. The set I am looking at the jewelry comes in Health as it is the heavy armor set, but the unique rings are Robust.

So you are searching for unique item set but still you have a chance to get it in not unique state.
And for this unique, if it drops only from single npc, as the instruction says, the chance to get it in purple is really low, but still.

Yeah, no, for the unique ones, they're only in blue, as far as I know. There's also only a handful of zone sets that drop their jewelry in multiple traits. Healthy Night Mother's Embrace exists (but doesn't drop anymore), the Wrothgar sets used to (no idea if they still do), and Trainning jewelry can drop in any trait.

I can't think of any others off hand. Though, if a set was changed to medium with 1T, then that could be why the unique doesn't match. If that's the case, the old jewelry might still be floating around on the market.

I'm curious about how people have gotten Overland/Dungeon set accessories in Gold quality. I've seen many of the popular Overland/Dungeon sets in Gold Quality via Guild Traders such as Red Mountain and Viper.

I'd like to hear from anyone that's gotten it and how. In my opinion gold accessories outside of Trials and some PvP vendors are too rare. Of course it'd be fine if we'd be able to upgrade, but that's for another thread entirely lol.

Didn't realize it until I just tested it. You can only carry and equip one of a particular unique item ate a time anyway. Suppose all that scrubs my idea...

Hmm, some unique named items do not come with the "(Unique)" tag. So it depends what you're looking for exactly. I couldn't name what is and isn't though.
