Account hacked or banned??!

Hey,
I just got booted off the server, when I tried to log back in it said my username was inactive. Even when I tried to login on your website it said my account was inactive.

Checked my mail and saw I had received one from ESO telling me I had cancelled my membership which I have definitely not done. No further info so I sent an email to customer support and just received an auto response telling me to "please go to https://help.elderscrollsonline.com and login with your game login details to open a help ticket. This will assist our Support Team in addressing your issue more efficiently." Hilarous, since I am unable to login ...

So plz let me know what happened ASAP!

I have done nothing wrong, was in the middle of doing craft writs and sorting my inventories, that's all.

    you can submit a ticket without login, this option is not obvious, on the help site login page

    perma banned?! now I'm even more puzzled as to why. I don't even troll ppl or any "minor thing" like that O:

    Canceled membership or not wouldn't affect your ability to log into the game. Something else must have happened. Contact ZOS customer support.

    Have any of you heard of this happening to someone else though? Really worried now that everything gets deleted, I've saved up lots of gold for housing and am looking forward to the update :(

    I have seen ZOS ban the occasional subscribed account due to issues with the payment method on the subscription, too. In this case it seems to be meant as an anti-hacking measure (meaning nobody unauthorized can log into your account until the issue is resolved). So I would check your payment method, too, if your subscription was up for renewal around this time?
    Why be normal when you can be better?

    Don't think it's a perma ban or otherwise you would get this message:
    Login failed. Your account has been permanently banned. Contact customer service for more information
    Best thing to do, write customer support, ask what happened and get on they're nerves until they do something.
    A friend had a similar problem, he wrote customer support and they fixed it after a week or so.

    This does appear to be a perma-ban, but in many cases, it's used to put a hold on an account (like a bank does when they see odd activity).

    Definitely put in a ticket. They'll either reverse once their comfortable your account is OK or they'll hopefully provide an explanation of the reasoning behind it.

    have seen this happends to a few players, they did get banned for buying gold or cheat engine, can be other stuff too like account sharing, just contact support...
    Still a grudge, only to see false what u want and nothing less.

    I wouldn't speculate and overreact. Just contact ZOS customer support and explain what happened.

    It's supposed to renew Jan 31st, I have the 6 months option.

    Only thing I can think of was letting someone else log into my account briefly at the beginning of the new life festival cause one of my chars seemed bugged and we couldn't figure it out. We wanted to make sure it wasn't something file-related on my pc and since ZOS did not respond to my tickets about it I let him try. I changed my password right after.
    But I have also had someone else log in for me during a time I couldn't play cause my pc was broken to rescue some emails that were about to get deleted. I even asked zos if this was okay and got a reply that it was so I didn't think this would be a problem either.

    I literally can't think of anything else, I use the regular addons like everyone else and all my gold is earned in game.

    I would think the very fact that you can post here means you weren't permabanned. It seems even ZOS would have an automated system that prevents permabanned people from then immediately posting on the forums.

    What I suspect happened is that there's something wrong with your account on their backend somehow. I wish you a speedy resolution to this irksome problem.

    Account sharing can lead to ban . They see a different IP address and lock you up . You need to file a ticket through the support portal and wait for directions .

    If you can't log into support maybe @ZOS_DaryaK can help .
