Why are you assuming that germans dont find this funny? It's called humor you know. if you dont like this then we dont share the same type of humor. end of story.

You're offended by what exactly? Edit: Just saw your reply. Just read and ignore what they're saying. Not a big deal really.

I thought it's hilarious! I struggled between listening to German and reading the amazing lines. Great find @Liley

That doesn't make it more "appropriate".

I dont really care if you believe me or not, why should I lie about myself. doesn't make any sence. you are basicly saying, germans must be ashamed because of their history and they must not find this funny.

    It is not funny.

    For those who don't know:
The scene shows a real meeting in the last weeks of WWII in Europe. The Nazis force the Germans to fight the "final fight" against the allied forces, sending even children to their meaningless deaths in a war long lost and a country in ruins. *** thinks that if the Germans can't defeat the Allies, every German, every man, woman and baby needs to be wiped off the face of the world in the attempt. Who does not win, does not deserve to live.
With this background, the scene shows a meeting at the headquarters in Berlin. The Soviet forces have encircled Berlin, people everywhere are just trying to survive this utter madness of the "final fight". *** commands an army that has ceased to exist several weeks ago to break out of the circle and to turn the tables on the Soviets. When he is told that this attack didn't take place (because those men have all fallen in the feeble attempt to hold the line, outnumbered and without supplies) he goes nuts. Sending everyone from the room he suffers a mental breakdown, accusing his generals of betrayal. If only he would have had good and loyal commanders, *** tells them, the war would have been won long ago. He accuses them of incompetence and stupidity, blaming all of the high ranking German officers for the fail of his beautiful plans. (When in reality, he himself was lastly responsible for the murder of millions, including millions of his own people)

So to put it in perspective, this video is just as funny as a video undertitled with "Destro Ultimate by Wrobel" showing people jumping in terror out of the windows of the burning WTC, choosing this over burning to death.

Anyway, that meme is so overused that it hasn't been funny for a while. For multiple examples look for it in response to 40K, AoS, Warhammer Fantasy, plus factions and units in said games, and many more.

That's such a bad comparison man. Also if something is funny is subjective, so don't go there and say it's not funny, when I laughed ;)

Well, I think it is an excellent comparison.
And because YOU laughed doesn't mean everybody must laugh.
I'm not saying the video IS bad or offensive by itself and I can see why it's funny to some or many people. It's just the kind of video that I'd share with people I know, not on a forum with a large audience of people I don't know.

The title is also a bad choice. Germans =/= naz*s.
And as I already mentioned, the argument "I'm german therefore it's ok" is completely invalid. It's not only german history. It's everybody's history.

And finally, when we post something on the internet, some will like it and some will dislike it. And say it, and say why. The latter are not more or less legit than the former.

I know What its about, seen the movie, seen all docus on nat.geo. 10 times over, still think its funny,
Also, a vid u described at the end about the destro WTC thing, would probably find that funny to,
Thing is, all that happened, yes it was bad at the time, but its over now, learn from it and move on,

who is it you are saying gets offended with this?

is it the Germans for invading lots of European countries and starting yet another World War (they are good at that), or the families of all those killed by the Germans for the war they caused?

please clarify...otherwise this is rib tickling funny

    @ScooberSteve

Just in case you are truly not familiar with this, there are indeed different video clips out there that are used by many different communities with subtitles either to simply create funny content but most often to show what they perceive as a bad state of affairs.

It's a form of art if you so will.

I find they work the best if you don't understand what's actually said (less distracting), so simply try it without sound.

Also germans are not known for being funny. So your deduction above is moot and proves nothing.
