Time to bring up Power Extraction again.
A while ago this ability was finally converted to disease damage but i believe there is a problem. I don't see anyone ever using this skill. Its essentially a lesser version of Steel Tornado in my opinion.
I suggest this ability get a revamp and possibly something more to sway players to utilize it.
Here are some random suggestions that would give me a reason to use it:
- Add an addition effect to drain enemy players Major Brutality/Sorcery when hit.
- Increase the damage for each target hit.
- Applies Minor Maim.
- Grants Minor Life Steal [New effect out on pts]
Since this is a Siphoning Ability i'd like to maintain the element of taking something away from your opponent. I'd like to try and stay away from SAP tanking and make a more unique version for Stamina NB's Power Extraction. Draining other players of there buffs sounds nice, a easy way to reduce damage against you. Minor Maim is less spectacular since its obtained from Fear/Summon Shade but id welcome an AoE maim ability. Minor Life Steal may be good, im not entirely sure how it works yet though. The increased healing similar to SAP tanking would be a nice benefit to have.
Overall im not really satisfied with where this ability sits and i thought i'd take a shot and see if we can get an experimental change for update PTS3 and give it have a new niche. Any thoughts?
