I use twice born star and julianos most, but armor master and clever alchemist are the hardest to get to. Won't tbs be getting a hit with proc crit damage removal?

Given the cost attunement stations in vouchers, I'm actually going to work on the new psijic recipe and the new motifs first.

Yes, a green response confirmed this at one point.

    Probably

Think, if you are allowed permission into a friends home that is hosting as a Guild Hall, who has a DLC attuned crafting station. You would be able to use it, as long as you had the required research.

right now I would say TBS but with the changes coming with the patch it seems like TBS will be obsolete and overshadowed by Julianos in most settings
The IC sets are by far the hardest to get to, so probably one of them (Armor Master being the only one worth using, and even then it is not BiS)

All of that research time and time spent farming motifs seem like a pointless waste anymore.

Armor Master would be on my list.
Not endgame, but still useful for leveling tanks, and so annoying to reach.

Anything else really depends on how much it costs for the attuned tables.

98% of the time I go to a crafting station, it is to deconstruct gear. In my house, I would like to be able to quickly vend and dump gear, so I don't necessarily think I will go through the effort to attune one.

Things change so much, and I find I rarely craft the same set twice. I think the most useful crafted sets in no particular order: TBS, Julianos, Hundings, Night Mothers, Clever Alchemist, Tavas, Seducers, Magnus, Morkuldin.

My question is, do I need to have a separate station for each if I wanted to have multiple sets? That seems like a lot of clutter and not something I would do. If you wanted all those sets in your house, would I need 27 stations (9x3)?

TBS is definitely going to take a hit, but more so because they are changing how Major Force no calculates in the formula from Warhorn. TBS was only ever better than hundings or julianos in a good warhorn environment. They make its seem in the patch notes that the net effect is the same, but I assure you its not. It is only the same assuming you are doing nothing else to buff your crit (elborn, shadow, passives), which is not true for anyone.

TBS is definitely getting a nerf, but its hard to say how big that will be. Burning Spellweave is already more DPS on most magic builds anyway.

I am thinking about staying away from the attuned crafting tables. Mostly because for the most part, having them is not going to be better than a lot of dropped gear sets. And, for me it is not hard to get to the couple that I might use to level a character. I only make gear for a few people, so it isn't like I am running across the land all day everyday crafting for tons of people.

My master crafter is really looking forward to having a workshop with all the stations I commonly use to make crafted sets. I even thought about having a joke workshop room filled with the most worthless set crafting tables and show that off of any crafter friends that are visiting. When people request specific sets, it will save me a lot of time jumping around to have them all in my house.

Getting attuned work stations are low on my priority list. I use set stations so rarely, attuned ones will not be worth it until I've gotten the training skele, Ebony motif and a few other items that you can't find in the world. Attuned tables come only if I'm rolling in vouchers.

I'd put Juliano's in mine just so I won't have to load into Wrothgar anymore. Not that getting to the station is a pain, but the load times...ufff. I'd like Hunding's and Night Mothers too but they're right by wayshrines in the Rift so they're lower priority. If attuning wasn't a major undertaking I'd want the ones that are out of the way like Armor Master and Clever Alchemist too. Clever Alchemist is just a pain bcs of having to fight your way in sometimes.

I was thinking that it would be really cool if a big guild that owned one of the biggest manors, or the crown exclusive island or massive fortress, focused on putting every attuned station in the game into their home.

OMG can you imagine every crafted set in the same home!? With 3 stations for each location, you'd need a few mansions to be able to get them all in there! No thanks, I'll take my free wayshrine and travel to any station I want. :D

@SolarCat02 Although subject to change, the cost of one attunement station will be 250 voucher. Put into perspective, that'll take about 25 normal legendary tier master writs of the three main crafts, blacksmithing, woodworking, and clothcraft (typically these reward about 10-15 vouchers). These writs have about a 1/20 chance of dropping from regular writs. So picture the grind...

*There are some super special writs that reward 150 to 200 vouchers in one writ, but they typically require a legendary item, in a dlc high trait set, with nirnhoned as the trait, and a rare style like glass.

Low-balling it, one attunement table will probably have a value of about 1million gold (for PC) and 3million gold (for PS4). Put in another way, the cost of one attunement table is the same as the entire new psijic recipe in cost of vouchers (250 for both).
My question is, do I need to have a separate station for each if I wanted to have multiple sets? That seems like a lot of clutter and not something I would do. If you wanted all those sets in your house, would I need 27 stations (9x3)?

Devs have confirmed that each different set will require 3 independent crafting stations. If you wanted 9 sets, you would need 27 stations. People have already started trying to come up with the most space efficient ways to do this in PTS. Regardless, it looks like a sweatshop.... So not only will it be expensive, but it'll be impractical and aesthetically displeasing, unless you're into the sweatshop look.

I'm thinking I'll probably put different sets in different homes, or different rooms within the same home, but then I'll have to play the guessing game of trying to remember which room or home has which set. Even if they were all in one space, I could see myself spending a couple of minutes going down the line checking to see if each one is the one I'm looking for.

    OP raises such a good question. If you had to choose one, because given the cost, for most of us, it'll take some grind to just get 1 set, which one would you choose? Armor master is a pain to get to, but I rarely craft it. TBS is the set I most craft, but it's going down to where most other crafted sets are... I'm actually starting to feel like I might as well get none. Save my money. Maybe just get regular crafting stations, and if I can't use my house to craft sets (1 less functional feature), maybe I should just forgo buying a nice house too. ^.^;;

    @Pandorii

    Yuck.
The more I learn about the way housing crafting is set up, the more I am convinced to just stick to the basic free apartments. (Of course I will get all three of those, because they are "free," right?)
I am not rich enough to make anything bigger look lived in, I can't store anything there anyway, and the whole grind seems worse than the grind for gear.

One of my guild officers has shared his intentions to buy all three of the big mansions and share one with the guild on his own dime (donations accepted of course), so I will happily let him handle that officially since he intends to do it unofficially anyway.

I used to be excited about this update.

I am going to let myself be excited they claim to have fixed the bug with Regeneration not prioritizing targets, and leave it at that.

I agree with this concept, if you do a lot of set crafting, I don't know why you'd bother attuning stations to easy to reach locations unless they account for something like 75% or more of your crafting time. Anything to stop me having to go into IC for Armour Master is a bonus - that place is a pain to reach, not hard, just a pain.

I am also focusing on trying to find the new psijic recipe first - I have 2 unlearned ambrosia recipes waiting to use with a cipher.

After much deliberations with the voices in my head, I've come to the conclusion that I'll only bother getting a set for Kagrenac's Hope.

Apart from Armor Master, which I have only ever crafted once at someone's request, all the commonly crafted sets are relatively close to wayshrines except Kagrenac's, which requires 2 load screens and a marathon run to even get to the stations.

    Yeah, I'm done with that.

Thanks for the insight. I am just picturing a house filled with like 60 stations. It would take you longer to remember what each did than just port there. NO THANKS. I will definitely have one of each in my house, but now I am definitely not bothering to attune any of them. Good, it will save me a lot of gold. Haha.
