PTS - Mac client - Crash when loading world after character selection screen.

As title says I crash when trying to load the world after the character selection screen and hitting the play button. No error pops up, just the rainbow ball in OS X environment and hangs in the loading screen. Left it for 5 minutes just to see but doesn't recover. I tried adjusting the graphics settings to minimal but does not change the result. I have to Force Quit the game.
