VMA - interrupting enemies

So, I'm getting better at vma, slowly but surely. I want to get flawless eventually.

Is it just me, or does it seem impossible to interrupt enemies in there? Lol seems sometimes like it will be impossible to get a flawless because of it. I'm in the US, and I have great framerates and ping. There are some enemies that no matter what I do, I can't interrupt, and i die as a result

Anyone else experience this? Am I doing something wrong I'm not aware of?

Me, just last night on stage 8: "Bash, c'mon bash, ***'n bash!! BASH! MF'er BASH BASH BASH!!! Can I plz GET A BASH!" *dead*

Close to 10 bash attempts, all failed. With that being said, I get pretty poor performance in there and the boss was on top of the flame guy I was trying to interrupt. Though this isn't the only time it's happened.

Yea it took me a while to get flawless on my stamblade because I would get to the 8th round no death and then die because I can't interrupt flameshapers even with full stam. Its Stupid in my opinion on a stambuild and some magic you can use a range interrupt but you will have to leave and respect because the round 7 boss if you interrupt him you get 1 shooted.

Why would you bash him if you can easily get almost 10 secs of free dps?

Honestly I was probably dead after 5 bashes and it just wasn't showing on my screen. It was by far the laggiest run of vMA I have had.

I can't tell you the amount of times this has happened to me

But I got my flawless on stamblade with like 600 ping so if I can do it you should be able to, just keep at it and pray to RNJesus (to OP)

you don't, as he said. I also switch my crushing shock for destructive touch only for this boss. also becouse I die if I interrupt him

Ohh I have my flawless it just took me longer then most people because of that stupid mess and the issue xbox had if you DC you don't get the title.

I've logged this for months now with vids. The flame spinners are uninterruptable due to them not actually being located where they are showing. Hence why upon death they teleport and appear about 5m away or magically spawn somewhere else. It's a proper *** glitch. Unless you have shields and tons and tons of stam to dodge it you're screwed.

It's easier if you have a skill that interrupts, especially at range. Running to interrupt an enemy can be a death sentence.

magicka builds use crushing shock from destro line (Force shock morph)
stamina builds can use venom arrow from bow line (Poison arrow morph)

The only enemy that have this bug for me is the flame spinner. However, you can avoid this bug by remembering where flame spinner spawns and go to him, this way they wont move and wont have the incorrect location bug.

You all read my mind!!! This is the exact stage, and rhe exact enemies, I was having difficulty with. I'm a stam DK, and so now I know they aren't exaclty where they are appearing. Is there a significant dps loss in choosing venom arrow over poison injection? Is it worth slotting?

It's a pretty significant loss, but I'm using it. I feel like it was helpful to learn the arena, but after that it's probably more of a hindrance, especially stage 7 boss. I don't know how many times I've accidentally interrupted him during the shield phase. The only reason I haven't switched back is because I keep forgetting to before I get to the arena.
