people enjoy different aspects of the game, which I love.

the fact that a game like ESO exist and being able to entertain so many different peoples individual pleasures is amazing.

Some love crafting, almost only play it to do that
    Some love fishing, its relaxing

for me, I love the feeling of becoming stronger and stronger, and looking forward to player housing tremendous, I have heard so much about it from other people playing mmos that have it, and never got to experience it myself

Why does anyone need a house yes?

To keep the cold rain and the burning sun off the shoulders of course.

If a house is to be a home then it becomes the physical embodiment - in bricks and chairs and candlesticks - of the inner self. A means of expression.

A place to hold parties and show that you have many more sweetrolls than your neighbour.

Also the sitting and a place to store booze.

No doubt you'll be taking the room in the Rosy Lion.

Of course! Now Khajiit will have her very own bit of the floor to sleep upon. Free from the wandering boots and endless undaunted singing.

In time this one she hopes to purchase a medium sized property somewhere where the sands they are warm yes. This one she will need to visit Wayrest Castle one or two or several hundred times more though before this is possible.

Rosy Lion? The inn in rawl'ka? Um, your daedric motif jumped out of your nightstand and forced its way into my pocket. Smells clean? Yes I recently laundered it. Anyway, you can, um, have it back...

So in a nutshell, I think that what I'm really bothered by is how the essential balance changes and small quality of life changes this game so desperately needed seemed to take the back burner to this project.
The combat balance changes and housing were done by two different teams so one had no impact on the other. In other words, only the person in charge of balancing combat is to blame here and we all know who that person is.

You say that as if Wrobel did all the balancing himself. Sure he's the lead for it but he would have a team of people working on it. And in the end, Wrobel would need for the changes to be tested and then signed off by the person he reports to.

Rawl'Kha? Oh no The Rosy Lion is in Daggerfall. Not far from the Wayshrine.

Rawl'Kha tends to feel a little busy and not so relaxing for this one when she is not on business yes.

This could just be the beginning.

ZOS seems to release garbage initially, then over a span of a year or so, turn that garbage into something really intuitive and useful/fun/innovative.

Seems to be their MO for the past couple of years with ESO.

He's the lead so he's in charge of that part of the game. I know he reports to someone but I'm pretty sure he/she doesn't tell him how to balance the game 'cuz that's his job.

It's just another thing to do in the game. Lots of people get fun out of decorating their houses and bringing friends and guildees over.

This^^ I usually have some kid of house if offered in games I play some have been very fun to see what I could build others were just a place to decorate with trophies and stuff, it just seems like here the storage thing is needed, even if it does not link to your bank a slotted crafted chest or something would have been nice.
