[Bug Report] So Pissed! Breda Mead Double XP Buff has BUG! Can't get double XP!!!!

Breda Mead Double XP Buff has BUG! You drink the mead and get buff, but you perhaps can't get double XP!!!!
I post 2 screenshots below. One has double XP, the other one doesn't have, but both have Breda Mead BUFF.



I just found this bug today after I completed a random dungeon. I found I lost 100k XP. I don't know how long this bug has existed? Can't image how many XP I lost over the past few days. So pissed!

By the way, if your characters get this bug, re-drinking Breda Mead can't get double XP back. So far, I have no clue how to fix it!!!!

You have to select "X" to remove the effect, then go drink it again.

It can drop your xp buff after any loading screen.

And because you have to physically travel there to get the buff... Well, there's lots of opportunities to lose it.

Thx, it works. I guess this bug has been existing since the event began.

Probably.

But because the mead itself shows up, just without the status effect, I think it took a bit for people to notice.

I told in another thread it was not working always but my comment was ignored so I let it go because I don't mind in my case since I don't need more xp but people levelling alts or CP should have noticed it sooner .

I don't know why ZOS didn't do anything to fix it?

Eh, ZOS are like "See you next year!"

A couple of them are probably sitting in their hotel rooms right now, reading this thread and giggling at how it took us this long to find out and start writing our complaint threads.

Heck, I am just hoping they will fix my Argonian tank to recognize that she is level 50. She shows at CP561 when you look at her, and can wear CP160 armor, but I can't buy that last passive because the "Argonian" skill line is locked at lvl 49.

My bug report submittal ended with a thank you for reporting a potential bug, and a statement that regardless of whether or not they look into the matter, I won't hear anything more about it.

I have the same thing on the character I am trying to level but canceling it and re-drinking doesn't fix it for me.

Also, my nightblade did the dailies the first day and has been unable to see any available since.

The event is almost over so probably just oh well I guess.

For me, the buff has always worked, yet it has never shown the "100% boost" text.

Dude look at your current level... CP 698.... why are you worried so much about gaining XP? you're already capped

Take a chill pill and relax. You don't need to worry about getting XP.

Dude look at your current level... CP 698.... why are you worried so much about gaining XP? you're already capped

I am over CP cap but using the mead to level skills and skill lines on a level 50 alt. The mead is still useful if you are over cap.
