Anyone who does not appreciate morrowind needs to go and re-evaluate their life, because clearly something is wrong

Morrowinds combat is a relic, it's quests sometimes designed in such a way it was so easy to break them without even knowing, and sometimes designed where you were outright required to cheat, break the game, or use exploits.

Oh. And if you think it had depth...

Go to the ghostwall and talk to the guards. "Greetings, my name is Buoyant Armiger."

Complete the main quest after becoming head of the temple, and having to ask the former primarch who is now retired for the blessing of the temple.

Being able to join House Telvaani, The Legion, and the Temple, all at the same time, three factions ideologically and politically hated by one another.

    Morrowind sucked.

It's only logical. If leaping out of the way to dodge costs Stamina, and running costs Stamina, then surely Jumping, which is another strenuous physical action, should cost Stamina.

Except jumping/hopping doesn't do anything but make you look foolish.

    1. You can hop over and avoid encase sometimes when destro groups are spamming it.

    2. It helps with timing and GCD's in PVP. Kind of like a visual metronome.

    3. There's the two inch tall rocks that you get stuck on..

So there's a benefit. It's just not worth paying stamina.

Morrowind had no Stamina. It had a green bar called Fatique

ESO should have a 4th bar called fatique

Fatique should be used when jumping, running, blocking, heavy attacking and dodge (t)rolling

Skills should use magicka or stamina

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I'll jump around inside a keep wall to signify that I'm not trying to be sneaky, so someone come and fight me please I rode all this way to engage some dudes... OH GOD NOT THE WHOLE ZERG!!

As for your point number 3... for me it's the randomly placed wheelbarrows and their handles that I get stuck on while strafing or backpedaling a zerg. Jumping could have saved my life for another 1.3 seconds.

Alright, then after a certain amount of time of using it constantly, magicka should no longer replenish due to magical exhaustion.

It gets better actually. If you look all the way back at Arena and Daggerfall, to be 100% lore complaint, Sorcerers shouldn't even be replenishing magicka. It's why the class is supposed to relay more on enchanted gear and weapons then the other magic classes(rather then as in ESO, which honestly seems to have them mixed up with the pure Mage class).

Ok. But if that happens then also:
    -Magicka cost for quick travelling
-Magicka cost for summoning your mount
    -Stamina cost for swimming
-Lower stamina recovery for carrying more in backbag and when walking up to stairs/hill
-Magicka cost for weapon swap(summoning weapon from nowhere)
    -Stamina cost for light/heavy attacks
    -Stamina cost for repairing walls
    -Stamina cost for mining/woodcutting
-Stamina cost when catching huge fish

    ^^^. Pretty much this.

You show up looking for a scrap with one or two, maybe three guys.

You end up peeling off a group of 20 with a real hard-on for chasing you down and killing you.
