after being bitten by a vampire her fur obioulsy became (almost) white and her hair became dreadlocks
after curing her of her 'affliction' she had blonde hair (same tabby pattern) and her hair remained as dreadlocks
i had photographic evidence and contacted support & they apologised syaing there was nothing they could do
when the hair pack came to crown store i hurredly bought her, her old hair (she's become accustomed to the blonder fur) but every time i change zones her hair reverts to dreadlocks, her piercings vanish & she looses her hair band
If this is true then you absolutely should not accept their answer of there's nothing they can do.
You paid for this product. You are legally entitled to it in good working order. This isn't that.
If you're inclined to be generous and give them another opportunity, lodge another CS ticket. If not or if they don't fix it, lodge a complaint with BBB. They have no legal authority but are good at negotiating resolutions to problems like this. If that doesn't work, lodge a complaint with your local consumer protection agency or small claims court.
AsteriaStarfall wrote: »The problem everyone here is describing can be summed up in just a few points as the causes.
1) Character creation uses the highest level of detail for graphics regardless of what you actually have your graphic settings set at in game. This is the equivalent of going past "ultra" settings and manually editing the usersettings.txt file and adjusting the following to "-3"
SET MIP_LOAD_SKIP_LEVELS "-3"
2) The lighting used in character creation is the same lighting that you see on your character when you open your inventory (when your character spins around) This lighting effect is used NO where else in the game and is a very even lighting which means no harsh shadows. You also have no option to permanently turn it on all the time.
Those two areas above are the cause of each problem described in this thread.
spent all day looking for this link - I have this experience with nearly every RPG that has come out in the last 10 years, give or take a few statistical exceptions...

I think a timer to tweak appearance would be good. For a few hours you get one chance to change a few things.
I used a race change token on one of my characters and accidently made him too short. I noticed immediately once I stood next to an npc.
Very annoying.
