Extremely Low Scores in Vet Trials

I've been getting my body ready for more vet trials, but regarding scores, I see some groups that have an extremely low score compared to vast majority of the people on the leaderboard. This week, for vAA, the lowest score is 84, and I'm just wondering...how in Talos' name do people pull THAT low of a score?

I got a score of 69 on my first clear of vAA. Lot of time spent to get there, time spent idling waiting for replacements to come in while people inevitably have to drop, so on and so forth... not that out of the question, if it's a good portion of the group's literal first time in there.

Also the proud owner of a score of 20 in vDSA. That run took just shy of six hours cause 3 of us were learning the thing after it got revamped.

Like Uriel said Teams that try for Hardmode might spend hours in there before completing and sometimes they also keep the instance open by having someone stay in it so that they can come back later on and try again without having to redo the entire Trial. Skipping mobs is also one way to do it. There are for example a few groups in vAA and in vHRC you can skip quite a lot if you put your mind to it. For example if you got 6 NB's on right side that just cloaked their way through it and pulled the levers that way they can do with just killing the last group before the boss.

I remember back when vMOL was first being cleared, and for the longest time, a score of 42 was on the leaderboards.

How do they keep people keep the instance open? Won't they get disconnected for afk?

0 vitality, 4 hour run, all 4 were completely new to it

It's not actually that hard to score that low on leaderboards

Well people learning vet trials and dying in the process, taking longer than normal, sometimes a few hours in one run. The feat that they at least have is that they finished!
