Clearly my somewhat health-spec'd Nord cannot quite swim to the next land beyond Eyevea. But I suspect if I put on heavy armor my beautiful pink Argonian can make it.

You probs know this already but retreating maneuver will make you swim faster too.

Oh, I wouldn't have made it that far without it.

I've gotten out of most zones and explored miles beyond the visible map areas. Then reported how I did it and they got fixed. You used to be able to simply pop a potion while swimming.

Today I'm trying to make it where that sailing ship is on the world map.

New plan: respec argonian for health, figure out which food has the most health increase and health regen buff. Use an Ayleid well. Wear health regen armor. bbiab

Not sure if it still works but you used to be able to jump while swimming and your char actually leaped out of the water, giving you a few milliseconds break between slaughterfish attacks each time you left the water ...

I don't know what your Argonian's current name is, but you NEED to rename them to "Sails-With-Magellan".

Also, can you get to that beach just north of where you started? Looks like it would be less distance to travel that way.

It's actually a very, very high cliff. I've traveled all around the island in the past learning the nooks and crannies. They were not messing around when they put the slaughterfish areas around Eyevea. I can actually get to an island by the set crafting location but there's no way to get further from there. But there's a whole lot of islands and land beyond it.

There's oftentimes blank spots where mountains and such are put up just to provide scenery on the horizon from the playable areas.

I bought a rather embarrassing amount of plague doctor, green pact and beekeper gear to supplement what I had laying around in my bags. Respecced into full Health. Buff up with some resto skills. I can't quite make it alone. Got up to about 59k health or so but that slaughterfish DoT...

As you can see beyond the map (and the icon shows where I made it to from a nearby island) there's lots and lots of stuff beyond Eyevea. But I can't quite reach it.

Awesome work. I loved doing this sort of exploring in the single player elder scrolls games.
I like to think the devs have hidden something cool out in a random island.

Since water doesn't hurt, try to find a way to get on top of the cliff and try to get a running start on your horse with rapid maneuver and jump off the cliff to gain some distance on the slaughter fish ...

Oh, I assure I have tried. Bouncing at full rapids speed off crazy rock spires. There's no way to get up there.

It's nice to see someone exploring Eyevea further, it's such a lovely zone that gets so little attention :(.

Hopefully you can't reach it because there's a secret housing location over there that they're keeping players away from for a big reveal later :p. Seriously I would love for my main to live on Eyevea it's perfect for him!

Also worth noting, i took LESS overall damage from the slaughterfish when i stripped naked and swam with NO armor ...

That's awesome! When I picture how you went from the maps you posted I don't quite get it but will certainly try to emulate it... unless it involved bolt escape, in which case I'll have to mule that gear to my orc or khajiit stam sorc. I don't think my mag sorc would much like that journey.

Two different routes, the very last shot is from above where you started.

On the upper north bridge (That runs east/west-ish) there is a rock formation on the east side that allows you to hug the mountains and eventually jump over the lower artificial barrier and onto the beach below.
And yes, i used streak but you may be able to jump there without.
I tried to circle to the east from there but got stuck inside some hollow mountains.

I then tried to cross where you did but with only 18k health i ended up about 10 meters short of the shore ...

Pretty sure the slaughterfish damage is based on the amount of health you have. As in something like starting off at 10% health per second and steadily scaling up. So for maximum survivability, you'd need to spec low health and high regen. I haven't tested slaughterfish damage much myself, but it seems rather likely. Slot troll king and cast mutagen on yourself for even more regen.

I believe you're referring to Thus Spake Zarathustra.

I logged my argonian in there and took a few stabs but it was freaking out the n00bs questing there, thinking there was a madman in need of professional assistance, so I'm rethinking the Set choices for my next run.

Spend a damned lot of gold on that gear that I guess my blazeplar will inherit.

I would gladly start a gofundme with ESO gold, but I'm on Xbox NA. And I'm broke to boot. And yes, Also Sprach Zarathustra's opening (Sunrise) is what I was referring to, but I think it potentially would've reduced the audience for that joke to just you if I had called it that.
