Hissmir Fish-Eye Rye Recipe....Drop rate?

Ive done 10 runs of the event quests 100 boxes and got only 1 recipe. Everyone is spamming WTT, WTB. I know yellow is supposed to be rare but really?
These things bugged or very low rate? Would suck to do all the work to get achievements on alts and have this one thing stop us from completing.

Judging by what I'm seeing in zone, it's more rare than the gold hats, towel and mud balls. Many people are still missing that one item to finish the achievement. Give it another week and there will be more out there and prices will drop but my guess is that it is most rare item from this event.

I've done the quests on 5 characters at least 3 times now and have had it drop once for me. It's just like the pumpkin masks.

I got one from about 90ish runs with multiple characters (2 mud balls , 3 colovian hats, 1 towel, no filigree hat.) ironically the last thing I got on my list was a green gruel recipe.

That's my perspective as well... except... I don't think it's quite true. The other gold items are all one-and-done. You have a towel, and you're not going to need another one for any reason. But, the recipes are per character... so that increases demand. Then they do seem to be rarer than the other gold drops. Out of ~150 boxes, I've pulled 2. In comparison to three or four of each of the other golds.

I have received a couple of them, so RNG is doing OK. I can't find ciphers and dust to save my life, though.

I've got about 135 boxes so far and only gotten 1 yellow recipe.

I only got one of them, but I am not being very lucky with drops in this event at all. I only dropped the Fur Hood, which I dropped twice and then I traded one of them for the other hood. A friend of mine sent me the Towel. Still no mud ball collectible. I did all the quests around ten times.

But taking by the prices these things are going for, the recipe seems to be the one that drops the least.

Ive gotten two of everything except for the less than flashy Colovian Fur Hood, which Ive received none. Oddly enough the two characters Im running it on seem to alternate between being lucky. Ill have a really good run on one character and a crappy on the other, only for the next day for it to switch.

8 runs, got 3 of them. I've also gotten 3-4 copies of most of the motif pages, but have still not received a single copy of 5 specific pages. Only 1 gold box (Mud Bag).

I've only done the event quests on 2 characters and not every day.
I'll say maybe 36 or so quests and I've gotten everything but 3 things
The Bath Towel, Bethnik Twice Spiced Ale and Hissmir's Fish-Eye Recipe.

I've done all of the quests each day on 3 different characters (don't really care to grind them out on all 12 lol) and so far I have received 1 Yellow recipe. I haven't kept track of the Yellow Runeboxes specifically, but there have been about 10-12 of them in all.

Yeah, the rnd is ridiculous. I have done over 100 of the quests and 0 of that recipe. I have only found one hat and the mud balls in all of those runs but I can give away multiple copies of the motif pages.

I had a character run it, yesterday, and get, out of 9 boxes, two towels and two fur hoods. I don't even know what's going on at this point.

I've done maybe 10 runs, got 4, all yesterday. Sold 3. Just need 3 pages of the motif, and I'm done. Only completing on one character this go around.

I'm absolutely swimming in rune boxes (which you only need 1 per account of), but these gold recipes seem to be non-existent.

I've done the event on 10 chars so a total of 90 boxes - got 3 of this one.

I only got one of one of the blue ones - had to trade for the second one for my magsorc who also needed the new title

It's funny because the gold recipe was my first drop for both events haha. But to take away from my "luck", I have not received any runeboxes. Not even last event

RNG, I got a runebox from my first 2 boxes, though with the witches festival it took me about 100 to first get one

I aim to get the achievement on at least four of my characters.

Up until yesterday evening it was the Betnikh ale recipe that was the missing element for me. I got my first one in my 99th loot box, but no more for about another 100 boxes. Then, on my last run yesterday night, I got 4 of them out of one set of 9 boxes.

I’ve had 3 of the golden recipe so far.

Motif pages are now the thing that is really holding me back – chests, axes and staves. I need 2 or 3 more of each to reach my target.

As for the rune boxes, they have been quite common drops for me. I got a towel in my third box, and now have several spares of each one.

RNG can seem pretty strange at times.

Just keep trying. There are still many days to go.

Got one last night cooool! then I discovered it replaces my food of max health, max magica and max stamina for 2 hour's......not so cool!

Seriously people, It should have been a potion that you chuck down and last maybe 2-3 min for fishing purposes, unless you are planning on wrestling a “Slaughterfish” and if that’s the case then I can understand the need for magicka and stamina regeneration.

I've run the event quests 4 times on 4 different chars that's every day and have yet to get mud ball runebox and one char has got the title but that was from trading.

I have had so many of the same motif drop for legs I almost have one leg motif for all my 10 toes. LOL

The way the event has been designed drives me nuts. I get tired from the back & forth back & forth quest 1 at a time I'm sick of it already and its only just started.

I have no patience for this kind of crazy. Once my next toon has what shes after. I quit this event. No more!!

I did the quests twice on two characters, so that's 36 giftboxes.

I got 2 of each collectable except the towel (only got one of those).

I got 4 Hissmir fish-eye recipes.

The only things I didn't get were Betnikh Twice-Spiked ale recipe and the Shields motif, which I traded - although it seemed that no-one had the ale recipe for trade for a long time.

As soon as i got it though... everyone seemed to be selling them!

Other than the hissmir I traded for the ale recipe, I gave the rest of them away.

if you believe that guild store prices somewhat reflect supply: the runeboxes sell at 7500 gold. the recipe sell at 50,000 gold.
