Do you think disabling cp in all of the PvP oriented gameplay would be a good idea?

    The less cp you have the more powerful proc sets become. So in my opinion a noticable increase would be better at the current situation than removing cp from pvp.

    once proc sets have been toned back, some stars will need changing, specifically anything that buffs damage by 25%, i mean seriously thats a huge number, it's no wonder people complain content is to easy when you can beef up damage that high.

    then theres the need to make it so gank builds aren't as strong as they were even before proc sets, possibly reduce the stealth crit multiplier slightly? or increase the radius of stealth so it's easier to detect unless wearing 5 medium, nothing more annoying than a zerg who can nearly creep up to your keeps doors.
    i blame the guards needing glasses, i know it's pvp but why have guards at all if they cant even contribute? i mean walls are the only thing stopping a player solo taking keeps. it's a joke.

    Depends. CP is good for the game and has the potenail to create diverse building for characters. At the moment it justs a power creep mechanic.

    Seriously, I used to play in azuras, and trust me taking a resource by yourself is a challenge. But when I go into a cp campaign, I don't even try. Its 2-3 hits there all dead.

    They a should make NPCs a lot stronger, I always though about how cool it would be to have a boss inside each keep that's took a nice little zerg to kill. And also having NPCs attack other keeps for you, just to make the game feel more alive

    PvP has increasingly had issues around being boring, lacking in build diversity and way to dependent on fotm builds each patch and while this was always there from day 1 it got much worse with cap removals. CP have added to all stats pools so have increased that issue while battle spirit has just helped fotm builds by making quirky styles of play less viable.

    But at the same tme I think the perks and star buffs could allow increased build flavour...

    So I'd bring back soft caps on stats but leave cp... your 25% damage buff becomes less relevant when you are over soft cap so you might throw it into something more interesting instead plus maybe hybrids become more viable again and the whole magicka vs stamina thing bevomes less salty...

    I am almost always against taking away across the board an existing option that is not in and of itself harmful to those outside the option.

    You want more pvp campaigns added with different settings and restrictions - sure fine.

    take away cp campaigns from those who want them - no way.

    heck why not add an "all normal - just skill" campaign with no cp, no gear above white quality, no sets, no two-three-effect potions or multi-effect poisons for real skill-on-skill competition?

    i think it may have been Barney who said...

    Seek first to get more stuff you want, not take away what others have.

    This has already been implemented in the No CP campaign. It would be terrible if this were forced onto all campaigns. We like having variety and slightly better build diversity.

    Just nerf destro ultimate, disable proc sets in pvp with a bit of overall class balence and fix the crashes and lag and even give some better rewards for pvp and Pvp would be playable.

    Because most of the PVPers would probably leave the game. Then I wouldn't have to listen to all the QQ in zone chat and ZOS could focus on what really maters (PVE) instead of nerfing everything in response to PVP whiners.

    How about stopping this flood of useless polls?

    Who ever thinks that removing pvp will solve any problem is severely brain damaged. Thinking that there would be less 'adjustments' or 'balancing nerfs' just because it would take longer to actually find the exploits is naive.

    Once the raid (or group) consists of 4/12 of the same class, spec and loadout simply because it is top dps/survivability (a.k.a. the 'meta'), does anyone really think they would leave it that way?

    I am rapidly losing interest in these forums and I am more than happy that the devs don't listen to the dogpoop that usually goes for an 'opinion' here.

    I play in Azura's Star and have a lot of fun in the no CP campaign, but do not think removing them from all campaigns is a good idea. As it is now we can choose where to go and how to play, removing choices from us just doesn't sit well with me at all.

    CP is not the issue with balance.

    Someone with lower CP will gain more. Someone who places their CP poorly probably gears poorly and chooses skills because he thinks they are cool. Much, not all, of the QQ is players who think just because they have a challenge with a certain skill that it is OP.

    So CP is not as much an issue with balance.

    That would have maybe worked a year ago but everyone runs 35k health in groups of 12 all in heavy armour all dks and templars. Whats the point?

    You have a non CP Campaign if you choose to play there.

    There is no need to eliminate CP from all PVP, battlegrounds whenever they show up should have all kinds of options no CP, No Ultimate, Ability to prohibit certain gear, random buffs, random debuffs, and all ina settings menu so you can create your own and turn them in or off.

    Want no proc sets in your battleground, click a button.

    Want everyone to have a healing debuff, click a button.

    No ultimates, click a button.

    Only earn Ultimate on a player kill, click a button.

    You get the idea.

    There is a non-CP campaign if you want (And this is actually my home campaign - It's always a surprise how slow my magicka regen is in Cyrodiil!).

    But some people want to use all of their hard-earned CPs.

    Why remove that option?

    And actually, about the balance... I think that the CPs are probably much better balanced for PvP than the sets or abilities are.

    They really need to change the proc sets to have two different effects for PvP and pve respectively. Or they remove it entirely and introduce new PvP only sets. These calls for nerf on sets are ridiculous given that PvP players just want to PvP while pve players don't want PvP players to poop on their sets.
