What trait would be best for a DragonKnight tank? I know for pvp it is the almighty Impenetrable, but what about for PvE? I was thinking it would be between Reinforced and Nirnhorned but was wondering if Infused on the larger pieces might also work?

There is no right way to do it for PVE. I think the most common right now is infused on big pieces and sturdy on small. Some people go 7 sturdy. Others run Divines to try to boost their regen, or a combo of reinforced and Nirn to boost resist.

Personally, I like the Infused/sturdy combo. I think pushing resist caps to the max is just not necessary in PVE. I like the raw stats and stamina management.

Ye its up to you really and to a certain extenet your cp allocation..

I do infused big pieces with tri stat glyphs, sturdy on small, and reinforced on shield, defending sword.

Often tanks go with sturdy on small pieces for block cost reduction. One can do infused on large pieces for more max stat or you can continue with Sturdy. All except shield, reinforced on shield since this is your largest armor piece, if crafting see if Nirn gives a larger increase to armor on shield. Have heard it does.

If doing divine, only one piece since the block cost reduction is helpful for tanks. This is if your running Atro for magika regen, not worth running a mundus for stam regen.

I my dear bear said there is no Meta for tanking, do what makes your play style easier. I personally go 8 sturdy but its cause with the sets I use I can get 1400 magicka recovery anyway. But there are as he said tons of way of doing Tanks. Test out what you feel good with.

And yes I have tanked and completed all but vMoL HM with 8 sturdy and the 8 sturdy isn't why I haven't completed it :P
