Should you be able to rez at outposts?

    I dislike the change and think you should only be able to port to outposts
    I'm fine with the porting out, and I would be fine with rezzing at an outpost if it were connected to an owned keep, but I don't really like having it as an independent rez location.

    Had more negative effects than positive. Good for small group farming and for map control...but not good when an entire alliance is sitting at bleakers with no care to take anything else & the two other alliances blob to that location. They become the new bridge when no one is at the bridge.

    Well lol, I don't think 99% of the playerbase are brain dead, but I do think they see more value in farming a bottleneck than taking a keep. The layout of Cyrodiil encourages this. The new one-shot mechanics amplifies it.

    I do like the idea about about allowing people to rez at outposts only while connected to back keeps. Fair dos on that one.

    I also like the idea that capping three resources flags a castle. It might just encourage smaller scale groups. Hard to say how it would work in practice though because people are so unpredictable.

    For me, the real problem is a bunch of successive ill-thought updates starting with IC. Sure you can lump the outpost issue in there, but it's just a drop in a very big ocean.

    Didn't they reduce mount speed back in some older update? Maybe the Wrothgar one?

    It's just dumbed down Cyrodiil even more. Removes another interesting mechanic that people could use to actually play the map.

    Luckily noone even bothers playing the map anymore so meh

    i think they added a level of strategy. im not even sure why people are complaining. just adapt and develop a different strategy. change isnt always bad people.

    This part right here. Players who have taken this up thought process on balance have gotten this game to the point that it's at.

    Bad balance change? Adapt. Broken set added? Adapt. A skill is overperforming? Adapt.

    The PvP population used to be over 10x bigger. Even the PvE portion of players jumping into PvP used to be significantly larger. Terrible design decisions and broken mechanics push players away. By saying "adapt and develop a different strategy" when something is broken encourages the use of whatever is OP and discourages fixes of any kind.

    Change isn't always bad, sure, but obviously bad changes are never going to do the game any good in the long run and will further harm balance.

    What I personally feel is perhaps the most secretly awful non balance change we've had in PvP in a while. The change essentially perpetuates lagtastic fights at the bridge and milgates by removing the ability for people to even momentarily cut off the outposts by hitting connected keeps. Now once you have +60 people turtled in an outpost, and ofc +60 people just running there because pug reasons, the game essentially becomes unplayable both because of the resulting lag and the fact that 90% of each alliance is literally fighting in two\three places. I realize most people have little to no interest in really playing the map, but that doesn't mean it should be nearly impossible to force everyone off of specific locations in the interest of providing quick and reliable access to fights.
    I think it's a lazy fix to minimise load screen appearance.

    If outpost res would work only in case when it have connection with the keep which is not in siege and owned by the same alliance it would be much better from my pov.(so no more zerg infinite res)

    once every so often?

    or maybe, in order to use Transit you have to own 1 resource at each of the keeps connecting to the Outpost?

    It's just one less loading screen before I can potato to the bridge.

    Resurrection at outposts would be very handy yes. It would cut down the time to get back to a keep. I find it very annoying that if you die while attacking a keep you have to resurrect very far away. By the time your back at the keep the battle is over. Plus less loading screens, which is a plus. Some loading screens are super slow. But of course resurrection should only be available if the outpost is connected.

    Porting to and from outposts is fine but rezing at them is a big no no for me.
