Pretty sure this didn't need a new thread.

It is a simple issue. There is one pavilion with one NPC in one zone for the Festival. Causing a few issues as you would imagine with everyone congregating in one place.

If you stay away from Eastmarch, I would imagine the game performs just fine. Hopefully they will either expand the locations this NPC is at or create more instances for them to appear.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

Similarly, some of the quests require you to kill the same small group of mobs or fish from the same small pools of water. You've got people spamming AoEs trying to kill the limited enemies before they even have a chance to spawn.

how about ppl done with the npc leave the area?
im sure in this era of self centered millennials there are turds here crowding her with their mounts and spamming AOE spells to Disconnect as many as possible.

Damn how I dont miss WoW one bit

I am enjoying the event immensely!.Its a lot more fun then the grind of the Witches Fest, though I did like that one as well. I think this one is better. I haven't had the ping or lag problems that some people are having. It is crowded by Breda but this is nothing like the Anniversary Cake.

Since a picture is worth a 1000 words:

    Approaching the quest giver

    At the quest giver:

Fps dropped and ping went up but not to unplayable levels. Each of the quest locations are busy, the worst being fishing in shadowfen, but even there I caught what I needed in a few minutes and was on my way.

    Hope this helps

Nope. I have a character stuck on glenumbra (middle of the map, not even daggerfall) and one stuck in alik'r desert.

Thank you for checking in on the forums while at work. With the beginning of the new life festival upon us there have been many new treads opened about lag and other related issues. In order to keep the forums organized we are closing this thread and asking that you continue to discuss this topic in this thread.
