This seasonal item is not dyeable. Really would have been nice to know before spending the crowns. Will this be changed?

✭✭✭✭✭That can't be intended. Both in-game versions of this item are dyeable.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Yeah I just got the Colovian Fur Hood and was happy to see it is dyeable. Sent a bug report as well. Hopefully they will fix it, seems they have their hands full today.Edited by BigBragg on December 15, 2016 11:42PM -

Mrs_Malaka✭✭✭✭I call either laziness or intent (maybe both?) on ZOS.
They could have let people know in the crown store that the item was not dyeable by saying so in the item information.
In the Hat section, they warn you in bright, red text when hovering your mouse over the Alliance Rider Hood, stating "This collectible is not dyeable," yet all other hats in the same section have no similar statements, even though the new Sun's Dusk Winter Hood can't be dyed. And YESSSSS, I know that the Alliance Rider Hood's appearance is specific to the character's alliance but that should not excuse them from adding a few words to the item description unless they were lazy, or never even thought about it, or were just hoping some people would get enticed into buying something that looks like it would be dyeable like the four other hats in the same section.
For the sake of those who bought the item and were let down, I am hoping this is a bug and 'not working as intended' and that they will fix this issue. However, if it isn't a bug, and the hood isn't dyeable, to ZOS I say SHAAAAAAAME.

✭✭✭✭Well this is disappointing. Got a reply from ZOS Support today:
"Thanks for getting back to us. The Sun's Dusk Winter Hood is not able to be dyed. We are aware that the item is not being listed correctly, and are working to correct it."
I don't know why they would choose to make the Crown Store variant of the mesh not dyeable while the ingame one can be dyed to some extent. Unless colors are projected on and the holly stem would mess it up.
Either way, this is disappointing. -

✭Definitely a bug. I posted about it in the Bug Reports section but got no response. This is really disappointing...They probably won't hotfix it before the event is over either, and by then I won't have any desire to wear it.

I didn't either. That probably would've stopped me too, had I realized, and the in-game ones actually work (can be dyed).
