Changing UserID

I've read conflicting reports all over the net and I figured why not go to the source to find some direct information. I played the beta back in 2013, and when i registered I was not aware that my UserID would be public knowledge. Mine just so happens to have things such as initials of my first name and my complete last name. I wasn't aware that it would be public when playing in game. Is there a way I can submit a support ticket or something of that sort to request a UserID change? Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, I just want this resolved real quick.

Answer is usually no, but they may be able to help if that's the case. Either way you gotta talk to Support not the forums.

It should be technically possible, since it's something they used to be able to do. Submit a Support ticket at https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/ and leave your ticket number here. Hopefully @ZOS_CoriJ can advise whether inclusion of real name facets counts as an extenuating circumstance for allowing a User ID change. (IMO it certainly should.)

Didn't feel like creating another thread, since this one is on page 2.

Anyway, same issue - UserID contains quite a bit of personal info and I created the account a while back, never aware of where the info will show up.

I've tried creating support tickets, but they get marked as "Resolved" without anyone ever contacting me.

The developers really need to add a paid User ID change service. I would gladly buy it. Not being able to change mine is pretty much the only reason I don't play this game anymore.
