CROWN STORE - Please ADD TRAITS to the Crafting Section

SoberAlias
It's great that we can purchase Meals, Refreshing Drinks, Repair Kits, Poisons, Soul Gem Packs, and Tri-Restoration Potions, as well as, Costumes, Mimic stones, and Motifs...so "THANK YOU"! :)

The only item left that people complain about the most are Traits..Nirnhoned especially...so "PLEASE" continue making the journey of our ESO experience even greater by adding Traits to the Crown Store...some of us just don't want to bother with deconstruction and its easier to just sell everything for coin. The crafting Farmers can still continue plowing since that's their prodigy...and the rest of us can enjoy the fun side of gameplay..its a WIN WIN!

Why would you pay real money for something many consider to be one step above trash. Until Craft Bag came along, I regularly got rid of most trait stones, keeping only the most valuable and a limited supply of others. Check guild traders or even just ask in chat. They are cheap from traders and I would be surprised if you weren't given some in zone if you asked nicely.

You want them to add the trait stone gems in packs? Pretty much all except nirn are dirt cheap. You basically want to pay for nirn. Trait mimic stones maybe? But why? What's next? Gold mats?

I get trait stones constantly. My works bring them and i get dozens a week without trying while processing raw mats.

I'm normally an advocate for the Crown Store. But why would you need this?

I think they want this, so they will not have to do any research.

I would like a trait mimic change stone

    400 crowns each

Apply to any item and select the trait to change to...

    Much more useful

Thats what i thought he/she meant. The ability to change any trait not buy packs of trait stones. I have thousands of those and even sitting with 6 Nirn
ZOS takes cheating very Lightly. You have been warned, and any cheaters found out will get the Least punishment possible...

I should have initially included the idea behind my request for Elite Trait Crates being added to the Crown Store.

    It's pretty simple:

Step 1: Purchase the Elite Trait Crate from the Crown store (just like mimic stones)
Step 2: Add it to any weapon/armor you decide to craft (without the need of having to research it first).
Step 3: Now you can just adventure on in your newly crafted armor...

By purchasing it instead...it would eliminate the need to research a trait period (which currently takes forever). It would cut down on having to find the item needed to research as well as the time frame needed to research it.

Having it as an option wouldn't be bad.
But, to avoid inspiration bursts and instant master crafters (I'm imagining a week-old level 20 making TBS), I would assume that:
    (1) It's not actually learning the trait , but just being able to craft an item with it.
    (2) Because of #1, it doesn't give you any help toward trait count in crafted sets.
(3a) Either items crafted with it wouldn't be researchable (since for most traits, that would eliminate the need for future purchases)
    OR
(3b) it would be more expensive than I'd be willing to pay for the convenience, like the Imperial motif.

Since, I'm close enough on my crafter that I'd only want them to get more nirnhoned traits to research, they wouldn't really be of any use to me. But, I can definitely see some people wanting it if they're just missing a few pieces from a set, or something.

I'd personally find a tradeable trait mimic stone (where, like the current mimic stones, it simply replaces the item, and all other crafting requirements and benefits remain) to be more interesting. I wouldn't pay $30 for one or anything, but at the right price, it'd be a nice alternative to paying someone 15K gold for a potent nirncrux (on X1/NA, at least).

I really hope they DON'T do this. Being a max trait crafter is a symbol of your time and dedication to finding and researching each trait. It would make me unbelievably sad and annoyed after spending so long on trait research for a year to see some level 10 with extra cash offering up his services as a 'master crafter'. It would undermine the whole crafting system, imo.

What - selling trait materials in the crown store? Guild stores not good enough for ya, huh? :p;)

On the other hand... why the heck not? Anyone paying cash for something they can also get with in-game gold and a bit of seraching... or a lot of farming... hey, their money, their choice, right?

It's just like selling riding lessions in the crown store I guess. For those with more money then patience.
