You can always find that one post that says something along the lines of these in every complaint thread.

And I'm *** tired of it.

I paid for the game, I have the bloody right to complain all the bloody hell I want about it. If you like a sub-par gaming experience, sure thing, go ahead and kiss up to ZOS's beautiful behinds all you want, but those of us that are tired of the way ZOS is treating its customers can and will complain about the crap that is currently in the game right now.

There are so many things to complain about in this game, and innumerable people have raised their voices about it. Proc sets, RNG, Crown crates, race/appearance/name-change tokens (EDIT: I meant the ridiculous price for a simple slider that removes that ugly tiara on your head that you thought looked cool when you created your character high on skooma two years ago), RNG, server downtime, vMA, complete lack of assets in use (children, beast race skeletons), RNG, awful walk/run animations, cash-grabbing crap, TBS Mundus-reactivation, RNG, the huge list of game-breaking bugs, etc. etc. etc. The list goes on and on and on.

And ZOS did little-to-nothing about these over the years the ESO player base petitioned about all of these.

And here's the thing: we still love the game; that's exactly why we're complaining about it. If we stopped liking the game we would just drop it and go.

See, ZOS did a pretty good job on the game, and I applaud them for that, but there are so many things they can improve with the game and make the game experience better for everyone.

YOU, yes, you, the ZOS butt-kisser, the "stop whining" keyboard warriors. You are the ones inhibiting this stream of improvements and keeping the game experience sub-par for all of us.

So stop, let us complain and formulate opinions to ZOS on how they can improve their beloved game in peace.

EDIT: I forgot to add that these "stop whining" posts aren't even constructive at all and is even an insult to the people who actually cared enough to point out the game's problems and suggest workarounds and fixes. Basically, by saying "stop whining", you devalue the amount of thought the complaining party put into suggestions and add absolutely nothing useful to the discussion.

I agree with you but....what's wrong with Race/Appearance changes? I was so happy with it! I was finally able to fix my main, it's been bothering me for so long.

7. Assets require massive amounts of time to create. Reusing what you can takes almost no time. Time is money when it comes to a business. See where I'm going with this? They have to stay afloat.

9. I'll agree here; some of them definitely need improvement. Related: see 7.

11. I agree with this. Your secondary Mundus Stone should be saved as a variable with other character data, so when you re-equip the set it automatically picks it up. With how easy that would be to implement and bug-check, the fact that it still doesn't exist is kind of bad.

13. Where exactly is this huge list, and why are they so game-breaking? If they're as bad as you're making them out to be, they would certainly be fixed by now. Sounds to me something like a weapon-swap buff cancellation bug or something you want fixed still hasn't been. Not exactly game-breaking. Annoying, impairing performance? Certainly. Keeping you from actually doing what you want to? Doubtful.

I went to Quakecon a couple years back when ZoS attended and actually met one of these manchilds watched him have a temper tantrum in the parking lot because one of the developers wouldn't stand there and listen to him literally cry about his dislike.

I love the Elder Scrolls IP and my hat is off to anyone dedicated (some would say foolish) enough to step into the lions den/cesspool that is game development, but my god it is embarrassing to admit I play the same game as some of these other freak shows.

A lot of people do not know the difference between whining and complaining.

That goes for both sides. We have people whining while saying they are complaining, and we also have people dropping in threads about legitimate issues presented reasonably and trying to invalidate the complaints by branding them as "just whining".

In both cases, nobody wins, the game and the community lose.

Okay, that was just a simple list, never thought someone would actually take the time to analyze it.
I can go into more detail.

4. They're fine, they're great for immersion, but they're also a blatant cash-grab; applies especially to appearance-change tokens. The playerbase had asked for an in-game barbershop where we could pay gold, not a magickal token paid with real money.
5. As of now, the server has been down for over 9 hours. I also live halfway around the world from NA so it especially affects me.
6. Just ranting about the RNG in it, but also some extremely BS mechanics that just make the trial frustrating.
7. 2 years is definitely enough time to give those Argonian pirate-turned-skeletons in Coldharbour proper Argonian skeletons, as well as the skeleton polymorph we get from the Stillrise Village quest. We literally already have proper Argonian skeletons in the form of a costume and a memento polymorph; why aren't they implemented properly yet? Also, there's a Nord "child" involved in a quest in the Rift, and she's a full on adult with an adult Nord voice acting like a complete child. Ouch.
9. I'm an animator, I can pull a proper walk-loop out of my rear in an hour and it would look even better than the crappy crap they have going on for the Commander personality walk animation (holy crap I'm still having nightmares over it). Heck, even the default walk animation looks really, really stiff. Also, there are many times the lower body animations and upper body animations just never match, and you get your guy slowly putting his arms down, relaxed, his back straight as he runs, and it just looks stupid.
13. Of course, calling them all game-breaking would be an overstatement. I can already name a few that I still experience, some of them game-breaking. Infinite load screens (duh), sudden inability to cast abilities or attack for prolonged periods of time (something that is related to sprint randomly being locked and can be fixed by quickly pressing sprint, but was game-breaking to me when I didn't realize it at the time), gap closers locking my character into place, abilities showing that they're casting but never cast, weapon swap just refuses to go off, and a plethora of other annoying combat bugs that has cost me the Flawless Conquerer title in vMA many times. Plenty more I can name if I can get back in-game for an hour to jolt my memory; I've become so desensitized to them.

Dude, this post is just to farm "agree"s and it's obvious to everyone. If you're saying you have the right to whine (which of course you have, no one said otherwise, they just "asked" you not to whine), then you should also assume that others have the right to vocally disagree with you. Freedom of speech works both ways. But you don't care about that, you just want to get some reaction from other whiners.

I know, I know - we must strive to express compassion for the less-emotionally-abled and appropriateness-impaired, because what if it was your little brother or sister who was afflicted like this? But still, there are limits.

This is not an "us versus them" situation. None of this is. Spare us these petulant, foot-stomping, breath-holding tantrums and recognize that your opinions do not reflect any kind of Higher Truth and that your dissatisfactions are just that - yours.

People who do not support the proliferation of ill-tempered, self-entitled, self-important, histrionic screeds are not in any way "inhibiting this stream of improvements and keeping the game experience sub-par for all of us." If you really are genuinely perplexed as to why the dev's aren't jumping to reflexively kowtow every time one of you But-I WAAAAAAAAANT-IT!!! kiddies throws a hissy, (see: Dunning-Kruger Syndrome, above) here's a hint - it isn't because the grown-ups are calling you (all) out on the ridiculous, childish nature of your comments. Uh uh, Sweet Pea. Gonna have to kick a little hole in that echo-chamber you are operating in here, but you guys are the ones alienating the devs. Quit messing things up for the rest of us, okay?

The appropriate response to this post (and ones like it) is not anger. Not getting your way is something you need to learn, and accept, to become an adult. If acting on that knowledge, if even understanding that that is true, is genuinely challenging to you, then get help. If you already understand all that and simply don't care, then GTFU. Either way, find a more appropriate way to express your thoughts and to work to realize your wishes or accept that that people are going to criticize you, not on the content of your comments necessarily, but rather on the manner of your expression. And that's just how it is.

Actually, I'm pointing out the ones that exist in actual constructive complaints, so the things you're pointing out isn't even valid.

I have never seen these "ill-tempered, self-entitled, self-important, histrionic screeds", and quite frankly, I don't care for them. However, most complaints are constructive, and the things I have pointed out already has plenty of logic behind complaining about them. What I am miffed about are the devs pulling obvious cash-grabs at every chance they get despite all the PTR players opposing them for months.

Keep trying, sweetie. Maybe you'll get the point one day.
