Usefullness of Attributes

Since One Tamriel your unbuffed stats start to decrease from level one. With the attribute increases per level up still at the past rate (115 or so) it would take 40 levels to equal what can be gained from level one food. As character levels increase the benefits from food also increase.

The damage increases from putting points into magicka and stamina is always welcome but seems to be basically insignificant when you start equipping your character with better gear and foods.

Since every character can use more health I am tempted to increase only that attribute.

If the amount of Magicka/Health/Stamina were increased to, say, 300 per level I could definitely see attributes having a more strategic influence.

Your thoughts?

    Are you taking into consideration that You're scaled until you get into the CP stuff depending upon what you're doing

    -PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf
    ~<{[50]}>~ looks better than *501

    see above poster, also your wd/sp is also scaled as well.

    in essence what i would do is keep your health at ~ 20k until you get to 300 cp then you can drop it down to 17-18k.

    Before CP160 (and especially from 1-33 while you're getting the extra low-level bolster) your might see some oddities but the base stats are still being used in the bolstering formula and you still want to have all or most of your points in your damage/healing stat.

    Unless you're a tank (and often not even then) stacking health is not a good idea since your damage and healing will be less than it could be.

    Health only comes into play if you're getting hit a lot. The quicker you kill things, the less chance they have to hit you and the more experience you have with the game the better you'll be at dodging and blocking what hits come your way.

    If you know what you're doing an after-food health pool of ~ 16-18K will be just fine for everyone except tanks.

    for tanking, it depends one if you have useful tanking skills that are health based (few tank skills are) as such unless you are a dk, i suggest dont try to go max health build. for dk max health build i suggest orc race to best suit it.

    THANKS All;

    I guess I was making a simplistic statement without knowing how the mechanics of scaling work. I still do not know how they work but will raise my attributes as I had before One Tamriel.
