Dungeon Group Finder Blues. =(

I am not in a guild as I can't commit to playing daily nor playing for long periods of time because I get burnt out by the game very fast so I unsub for months for a break so I don't want to burden a guild if I am not gonna stick around, so that said. My gripe.

I have a full server of toons plus 1 extra toon that can and may grow in numbers I have 2 vets at this moment in time. I play around a ton with builds delete toons all the time as well. LOL

BUT I do not and will not sit in chat channel spamming for a dungeon group, I will never ever beg for help either if I can't do something solo then I will never do it.

Undaunted rep and Undaunted quests and pledges my vets have never ever been able to get any of these quests done due to not having a group. So I drop the quests as it frustrates me so much as I can never do them. I get angry and end up quitting the game as not much else to do when most other dailies I've done are done.

Dungeon finder will never trigger no matter what time of the day I try I have been queued for over 6 hours 6 effing hours ffs - yes I am dps I play other MMOs I know dps always have a hard time in queues.

My main vet toon is level 3 with undaunted from solo dungeon questing what I can. But I have lost hope of ever seeing inside these dungeons.

I get undaunted quests before I hit level 15 to do fungal grotto 1 normal - I still have that quest at max level 280CP and dungeon finder is a crock and broken.

So I have made a decision to forget this faction even exists - no more headache from stressing out because the bloody queue doesn't work.

With 1-Tamriel you share the map with players of all 3 factions, and the grouping tool also matches you with players from different factions.


The grouping tool is mainly used for Undaunted pledges, that means if a dungeon is not pledge that day, then most people do not search for that dungeon - so the grouping tool doesn't find matches for you.

You on the NA Server? I have a guild that is perfect for you. We don't kick people unless you have not been around in a super long time, like 8 to 10 months long. No requirements, just be nice, and be helpful to other members if you can. We run a scheduled Group Night for Dungeons, but will run Dungeons anytime.

That Undaunted Quest just requires you to walk into the Dungeon and talk to an NPC, no need for combat or anything like that. Once you talk to the NPC, turn around and walk out and go back to the bar.

Yes I am on the NA mega server. I live in New Zealand I try to play daily cause real life is more boring then watching paint dry.

I've just pretty much come back to play after 6-8months away and I left then due to content I couldn't solo and was dying all the time. So got ticked off and quit.

I swap my toons around all the time, meaning I might play my vets today or I might play a lowbie no real consistency on who I will play on any given day. Currently playing a new templar and trying out an older Deltasgaming build because I have troubles knowing how to create and build my toons for survival and good sustain dps and so far so good.

Anyway after my post this morning and being in queue for about 2 and half hours I quit queue and decided to run a random and got in a group in like 5-10mins so I was extremely happy not the run I wanted but I still got rep with undaunted and fighters so a win win.

About the guild thing Nestor I dunno. I mean I like playing solo its just the odd quest that brings me down and fungal grotto isn't that in Daggerfall territory? I'm pact so if I go over that way on my lowbie won't I get killed by the guards if they see me?

@MissKiwiana the pve zones are open for members of all factions. Many of the players you see in the game are from other factions too.
Guards do not attack you, unless you have a bounty for stealing or killing NPC's.

Just join Nestors guild and give it a try, and even if you don't have a full group ....getting grouped up with 1-2 guildies and using grouping tool to find a last member is sometimes much faster than que alone for a dungeon.

That's good to know. Means when I log back on after my beauty sleep I can hopefully get that quest outta the way.

& incidentally would you know why or happen to explain for me why I got dropped or removed from random queue finder and I have no idea how it happened.

I've done a couple dungeons now thru random finder and thought I would try for one more before I went to bed so I queued up and went into another dungeon to do a mages guild quest and when I had done that and handed the quest in I saw I was removed from the random finder and I was on a 1 hour stand down timer. Message was like " You were queued up just recently and will not be able to queue again for 1 hour" Um why ??

The Guild is called Lone Wolf Help, basically, we are for Solo Players that sometimes need help or want to run with someone else once in a while for company. We also have some Aussies in our Guild so they could play at times that mesh with you. In fact, I think there is a guy from New Zealand.

Hey i'm from NZ and on the NA Mega Server as well.

Totally feel your pain on the dungeon finder, i think our time zone certainly doesn't help the situation.

If you're keen we can group sometime and save the zone chat b.s.
