Costume Design: Post your ideas

Was wondering if a costume design could be made similar to these attached pictures. I was thinking of the body look of the first with the hat included from the second picture. Just a costume feedback design.

What do you think guys? I think its pretty close to the Lore attire. (Minus the Rifle of course.)

They look like low rider dusters.
You could buy or make with some modifications to this pattern

Well, I kind of like the idea of a simple, long overcoat (sic) or robe-type costume, but I can't see how a direct copy of the first would work. Same for the hat - it's very similar to a Trilby. What part of the lore attire are you referring to?

Cool look though. Just maybe not quite for Tamriel.

I just was wondering if the designers could come up with a costume design that is more Lore appropriate for a Breton sorcerer that sort of resembles that first look.

You can do a style a lot like that in Grim Dawn. I don't think it fits Elder Scrolls lore as well as it fits Grim Dawn, though.

but there be no girly cowboys in tamriel, dont know about akavir, atmora, or yokuda.

I'll join in.

• More race-specific items of clothing (costumes) for those races not previously well catered for (e.g. Argonian, Khajiit, Nord)
• Something akin to the thick, winter clothing as worn by the Skaal. Considering parts of Tamriel are cold, and not everyone is a hardy Nord, i'm surprised there aren't more clothing items suitable for inclement weather.
• Costumes that a Dunmer would be proud to wear.
• Items that would give due consideration to lore, whilst perhaps acknowledging the time difference between ESO and earlier games / later setting.

That would be a cool scarf would be cool, the type of design seems like something in the ESO lore.

The long flowing cloaks and capes won't happen as the current engine doesn't have the physics for cloth. If they ever decide to upgrade the engine we could get lucky and score some cool things like this.

Honestly I wish they would add a costume designer similar to SWTOR. I spent months acquiring all motifs I can just to find out at end game craft gear is not even in the same league as farmed. So now all the looks of motifs I have are useless.

My recommendation is to allow appearance overlays onto the equipped gear. Equip piece A with good stats, but have appearance of piece B. Everyone wins. The market would be better off as prices would increase based off gear people like for appearances.

Just to further add, people would invest more in motifs on the crown store as well. I wanted to buy thieves build when it popped up, but decided not to cause I knew I can't make a set that compares to velidreth viper etc. So Zos this would benefit you as well.
