Understanding enlightenment champ xp

Is the bonus per lvl 50 character or just the account? I currently started a fresh nighblade and Im thinking I sure go use that rested xp while I'm leveling the new guy. And what's the deal with the map bosses haha, guess they were buffed lol.

It's per account, and only counts on lvl 50 characters.

Also, yes, the world bosses were buffed.

It's for the whole account. You can save up to 12 days of it though.

As for the Bosses, they were given the Wrothgar treatment.

Just want to add... It has nothing to do with resting. You will gain the same amount each day if you play or if you don't play. And as said above it can be saved for 12 days.

Its per L50 Character but shared across the account so all L50s get Enlightenment Benefit, but all use it up as you play them. But, playing on an Alt that is below L50 still allows it to build up while you are on the leveling Alt.

I wondered this myself while recently leveling a new character. I avoided my CP Ranked Alts other than logging in for Hireling mails on occasion. Well, my sorcerer gave me an earful about being left alone when I logged to her the other night. She had built up almost 4 million in Enlightenment while I was leveling my new Alt, and I know I parked her with no enlightenment left.

Darn I am about to get a second level 50 character.

Since enlightenment is shared, I guess I will have to decide which level 50 I will play and I will be forced to shelve the second. And I guess no point in leveling up any other characters to level 50.
Because playing one level 50 will use up the account enlightenment quickly which wont leave any enlightenment for the other characters.
Too bad they punish you for having multiple level 50's. I think it should be per character.

I have 4 mains, all at VR16 CP160. I like playing all 4 classes and different races/alliances.

Don't worry about being enlightened. You will earn points up to a viable level far faster than you think are going to. Back when I was in the 400's I was earning 2 to 3 Champs a day just farting around in the game for an hour or two. And, I was not using training gear or exp boosters. Sometimes I grinded, sometimes I did side quests, sometimes I just took a walk. The points come in if you just do something. I am at 670 something now, and I still get a point a day unenlightened for most of the play, and I am not trying for them, just farming for gear and shards on alts or doing dungeons.

And, wearing a full set of gear with the training trait at all times is something else if your worried about gaining points. You will do fine on just set bonuses alone for PvE, no need for the divine/infused traits really until you want to run Vet and Trials. Maybe on some pieces, but I grind content all the time with Training Gear.

And, here is a secret. Do the main story quest for each zone (about 5 main stages), clear the public dungeons, dolmens and find all the skyhards clearing the delves they are in. You will spend about 2 to 4 hours per zone if you click fest ignore the story, maybe an hour or two longer if you at least read the text and books. You will be at 400 to 500 champ points easy by the time you partially clear the 15 zones. Especially if you throw in some token farming you would do anyway hunting down a dropped set item Try to wear more training traited items than anything else during this time. Complete the 15 zones? Cap will not be an issue. And, then you have the DLC's.

Enlightenment is not the end all be all of gaining points.

Oh, one more thing, game is better if you kind of pay attention to the story, so how much you rush is up to you.

You seem to have this backwards, account wide is a good thing. champion points are account wide too, so you aren't being punished for having multiple level 50's, you're getting the xp boost enlightenment toward a cp regardless of which level 50 you decide to play
