Soella✭✭✭✭All depends on what you are looking for.
Eso is absolutely great for casual PvE, very easy to catch up (~2-3 weeks) to be ready for most group activities, more time to get ready for hard core raiding though still can be done in reasonable time. You can find quite a few solo challenges as well. No pay to win at all. More or less alt friendly.
Hard core raiding is very limiting and I don''t think it will be better any time soon.
PvP - probably better not to return for it, though good enough as side activity.
Crafting - nice mechanic, but no use in economy.
Economy... well, the worst one I ever saw in MMO. The only good think I can say about ESO economy - if you choose to ignore it, you can do it. And probably for the best.1
