Please, undress my character when previewing items in the Crown Store!

I don't understand why this isn't a thing already. When trying body markings, skin and other cosmetics, why does my character not get undressed so I can actually see how it looks? Previewing items should be quick and easy, not a chore! I don't want to have to remove my costume and remove all my gear just to see how something in the Crown Store looks. That's not how you get more sales!

Because people undressing you without asking is bad.

I was wondering that as well. I'll try on a hairstyle, and the helmet, which I normally have disabled, suddenly pops up so I can't see it. You'd think it'd be easy to disable the helmet at least so you can see your hair.

    Exactly! It's so frustrating.

It's definitely a bug which was introduced recently, because this never used to happen.

That makes sense, I recall checking hairstyles and eyelashes in the past and it showed my full head. Then one day here is the helmet and I have to unequip it entirely to make it stop showing up. Hope they fix this soon.

It would be nice simply to make it easier to see the tattoos. Of course the argument could be made: WHY DO THESE EXIST? You never actually see these things in game, unless you wear the pirate costume. There's more to my concern though. Why does my Altmer's face and body tattoos change color to gray (they are gold) when his vampiric levels raise? Why do those same tattoos more or less disappear? I'd really love it if certain features like that would not change. My khajiit likewise has changing hair color, but his beard remains pitch black. Why? There are a few appearance issues I'd like to see them change, but it is not the end of the world.

I haven't tested but I wonder if it fails to check if helmet is already hidden and just does a toggle which then shows helmet if it was hidden.

Either way I agree this and hiding great when previewing tattoos makes sense.

You know what else would be cool, if you could preview stuff without the helmets. Unless that's already a thing and I just haven't discovered how to do it yet..

I'm on the "it's a bug" side of this. So annoying, but I don't recall this being an issue in the past, especially with the helmet covering up the hairdo.

It'd be nice too if other players around you disappeared as well, cause some seam to know and stand right between my toon and the camera.
Also being able to apply different lighting conditions would be nice, same for when at the dye shop.

Yeah, it is annoying. And they obviously have the option, so... why not disable helmets automatically when previening hair or adornments, and all gear when looking at body markings? One more thing for the wishlist...

It's a great feature. It basically says you won't see your tattoos anyway!

Sometimes I actually do like it exactly for the fact that it shows me how it looks with my existing outfit. Just put little toggle button on the side.

On that topic though, it's actually nicer to preview a lot of things in the store than to do the same out of your collection.

They did do an update which now removes the head gear if you're looking at anything above the neck, but the style markings with armor still remains.

Though, I see this more a benefit because I want to know if my markings are showing up while wearing the armor of my choice. What point is it to buy markings if they're covered up by armor.
