CROWN CRATES = AWESOME

Yes believe it or not. I love them! A few weeks ago I threw so much shade at ZOS over these crown crates...

• Wasn't hard at all getting the Atro mount. Took me 7 Crates to get it.
• You get a bunch of stuff you can return back for Crown Gems which you can use to get a bunch of cool new items.
• Almost cheaper buying crates and get Speed/Stam/Cap Riding Lessons than it is to actually buy them from the store. If you have Crown Gems over you can just buy the lessons for a silly 5 Gems.
• If you don't get what you want, there's plenty of new never seen items you can buy with Crown Gems.
• Buying 8 Crates will give you around 30-40 Crown Gems if you return all the worthless potions you get. You can get quite a few old expired items that was once in the Crown Store, or get new never seen before items.
• Don't just buy the Crates hoping for an Atro. They were not made simply for an Atro. It opens up a whole new section with new items and an easier way to get certain stuff like Riding Lessons.

LOVE THEM! I hope ZOS continue with the monthly showcases but Crown CRATES are actually pretty awesome! Even if you HATE the idea, give it a shot You can't hate something you NEVER tried.

OMG I totally agree! I have over 400 crowns cause I support this game.....it was rather quick to get....which storm atronach should I buy? Which one did you get?

The drop rates will be much higher for the first few weeks to avoid an immediate cryout. Once people start accepting this con, the drop rates will decreased steeply.

Or we could ignore this *** system, hope it fails, and wait for all the items to be put on the Crown Store like a respectable business would. Your 7-box experience is not indicative of the actual chance to get them, nor can we expect the rates to be stable.

More to the point, the whole thing is a red herring argument. We should not accept gambling boxes because even if there are "good" chances of getting what you want (a laughable prospect honestly), if it's actually an RNG system then it is almost guaranteed that a large number of people won't get anything they were going for, even if they're spending huge amounts of the gambling law-dodging nonrefundable fiat currency.

@andreasranasen I understand how they work. Personally I have never missed an item I wanted, so I have 0 interest in past items I don't own. As well I don't care for hats as they steal my hair It's all personal preference on if what you get is actually something you wanted. Like anything for argonians... I don't own any, I wouldn't like them - but an argonian skin Deltia got is something he would use.

Even if I would get 5 Atro mounts in one crate I wouldn't be happy, because I know that there are people that maybe used all their crowns, got *** and now regret their decision. They are probably pretty disappointed. Why? Because ZOS wants more money (of course). I support ZOS all the time, but that just sucks.

I've seen a ton of people running around with the new storm atro mounts

Without knowing what was purchased it really proves nothing. Example, Ive seen a lot of people with VMA weapons so everyone must get them right away..

It doesn't hurt to try does it? And don't just buy 1 Crate and call it day. Buy 5-10 so you really get the whole experience. It's not as bad as everyone thinks it is.
