I've learnt the following Proc,Toon

This is my first legit online MMO and I'm pretty illiterate with this lingo.

Is there anything else I should know?

Someone who has little or no experience in MMOs.

MMO Noob is kinda self explanatory.

Although noob has been about for years on online gaming in different genres

It either means someone with no skill, or someone new.

Scrub - one who is not a good player
Zerg - large group that swarms over the battlefield
Pug - Pick Up Group (group of players that randomly grouped - vs groups of friends or guildmates)
Tick - The point in time after keep or resource battle in Cyrodiil that objective offense/defense related Alliance Points are distributed to the players remaining in the area.

Pugs refer to people you group up with or the group itself where the people do no play together on a regular basis. Can mean Pick Up Gamers.

Tick refers to anything that happens on a set timer. Flame damage is a tick as it occurs at regular intervals for a set amount of time. In PvP, a tick can be referred to as either an O-Tick or a D-Tick. The tick is the AP gained from either attacking and taking a keep or defending a keep successfully.

Zerg: bunch of random players clustering together, most used in PvP.
PUG: pick up group, random group created by the Group Finder

Scrub -

This term is straight from the video game world. More often then naught we run into the occasional "Scrub" (A bad player who has little to no common sense, but at the least knows what to do) or the "Noob" (A player who is new to the game, has no idea of what to do and is just overall *** at the game)... However, beware the "Scrub Noob" this player not only sucks at the game but manages to make you want to quit life do to the pure stupidity of their actions. A Scrub Noob has ABSOLUTELY no common sense, and happen to defy all logic in their movements and thinking.

Zerg -

Originates from Blizzard's game Starcraft where zerg were one of 3 playable races, aliens like appeareance, zerg were characterized by using large numbers of weak units to swarm the enemy, also another charasteristic of zerg were that everything was organic, ie, zerg didnt used machines or any artifacts, they would mutate their own buildings from special kind of larvae and advanced units were created by mutating basic ones. Units were cheap to make and it was possible to make extreme numbers in short period of time.

Nowadays term zerg is used in mmo games to describe force consisted of large group of lower level players (often with only basic equipment) who use numbers rather then strategy to defeat the enemy, therefore requiring no skill. This tactics is commonly known as zerging

PuG -

Pickup Group; used commonly in WoW and other MMORPGs. Basically means a group that isn't formed by people you know; instead, it's formed up of random, possible noobs that will completely wreck whatever experience you are getting the group for.

I have never seen that second one. Normally it's LF2M DPS 561CP exp which is Looking for 2 members, Damage role, 561 Champion Points Experienced.

"The frequency of which damage or healing from DoTs or HoTs will occur, for example, every one second, you are healed/hurt for 1337."
