Why is it possible to heal duelling players?

Yes.. it is possible. Atleast on PS4.. Dont duel in my city or I heal u till u move out!!

Pretty sure you can't. Sometimes animations will hit the player, but the heal won't actually register. You're really not as annoying as you think.

No 3rd party buffs are supposed to infuence dueling in anyway.
If it does its a bug that needs reporting.

Hmmm. Are alliance buffs removed ? Never checked.

Its not possible afaik. I used guard to troll some low level duelers few times. It didn't work but made them angry, and they ended accusing each other that they paid me to keep them alive during duel

Well.. i can heal.. I put guard on 1 person and any heal used after that fx BoL will heal any dueling person in range..
Green combat text numbers popping up and healing ppl to full health.. test it out urself, as I said its possible on PS4.

Why would you even try to interfere with duelling? It's perfectly legal to duel in towns, so why be a clown and get in the way?

Its fairly annoying inside the bank, yes before dueling ppl was still spamming skills. It was more to point out that it was possible, even tho it shouldnt be.

I can understand the bank being annoying, but I've no problem with it in towns. I don't really want to get into a whole debate, but by childishly interfering with duels, you're no better than the people fighting in the bank.

I wondered about this. I'm also on PS4 and saw some guys duelling the other day, and a 3rd guy came up and cast healing ward. The orange globe thing appeared on one of the duelling players. Not sure it applied any effect, but that's a big problem if it did. Next time I shall submit bug report.

I know I was dueling and a dude kept guarding me and than he would keep putting healing ward on more or the dude I was fighting.It actually healed me.

I don't know what causes that you can interfere with duels, however I have experienced pretty weird stuff lately.

I have the settings for preventing attacking innocent NPC's switched ON - I was NOT in group with my friend

• I killed my friend through duelling in Elden Root, he spawned at shrine there.
• As he walked out of shrine, I casted Ritual of Retribution on the ground
• Killable innocent NPC walks into my Ritual of Retribution
• My friend pokes the NPC by mistake with a light attack
• I get bounty for damaging the NPC, it took damage from standing in my Ritual of Retribution

It all happened within seconds, I managed to run away to the refuge, my friend got killed by the guard. This is new, because I have been doing the exact same thing, where my friend hit an NPC while I had my Ritual of Retribution where the NPC walked and I did not get a bounty. ( we were not grouped)

I ran from the river up to Rawl Ka the other day, and didn't notice people where duelling

• saw a Blazing Spear
• picked it up/ used synergy
• noticed the spear came from a dueller who was in the middle of a duel
• I took away his dots

Yes using guard skill on one of the duelers, you then can heal/buff them, i reported it a while ago, it shouldn't be hard to fix right zos?

Thing is.. its not only affects the person u have guard on.. but everyone else whos duelling.

For the first point - I suspect that it was your Ritual healing a wanted player that got you your bounty - in turn making the NPC hostile and allowing your Ritual to then do damage.

It is also possible to heal dueling people without guard due to some rare bug.

on ps4 you can cast Healing Ward on someone in a duel. Been happening for a while now. I have not seen BoL do it but I have seen Healing Ward work on a player in a duel. It is not SUPPOSED to be possible but I have seen it happen and done it myself by accident. Maybe a console or ps4 glitch?

It works but you have to use the ability guard on them once you'll gain ultimate. From there you can just vigor/heal people outside of duels its pretty stupid.

I've seen it. Someone outside the duel casts Guard and then can heal the player that is in the duel.

You use Healing Ward from Templar and when it pops and heals them you spam a Heal , some times it takes... then you can heal people dueling. also using healing ward morph then rapid healing right as the flag drops before they pvp works better and lets the glitch work more. it still works. i admit iv tried it but when i was newer and had no clue it was a glitch... noticed people getting pissed off and telling me to stop.

EDIT: GET YOUR ULT First by rapid healing people before they duel so it fills. when full cast Healing ward on them before they duel and most of the time it allows you to keep healing them and other after it stops ticking HP to them....

Its not healing u dude never did and never will..... just because u see the animation doesnt mean its healing..

When two players are dueling they cant interact with no synergy or receive anything from anybody but themselves. #Facts

U can still see the guard and bol animation etc but doesnt mean its giving it to u. Which is why nobody has ever came out and said "stop healing while we duel"

If somebody duels in a busy town, they deserve to be interfered with.

That's if they're close enough to where I go that I can see them or hear them loudly. Some cities are so big that asking somebody to literally duel outside city limits would be excessive.

So basically you think it is okay for you to screw with the rest of us by using your skills in a crowded area for no reason but to screw with others. Obviously if the problem is two people using their skills in a crowded area the best solution is for a third to join in.

I can also guard dueling players and totally wreck their fun. Duel away from busy areas or else.
