Predictions on this year's DLC

ZOS kept true to there word with quarterly DLC, updates, this past year, And it may continue to be the method seeing it's success. So what will this year have in store?

A year ago there were some videos of Clock Work City, more marshes, and other locations

Does anyone have predictions or proof of what is to come?

CWC/Vvardenfell I think will actually be this coming year based on how Ors and DB ended, otherwise they are extending their foreshadowing a bit far.

Had black marsh and Orisnium, the "beast folk" of the other alliances not fair on AD players not to have Elseweyr

I predict the next DLC will consist of nothing but an increase of gear limit to cp180 and a new collectable. There will be no new sets. Then in a couple of months after everyone has sufficiently grinded their replacement sets they will release a new DLC consisting of a PVE zone the approximate size of a staryer island with 42 new pve sets. Mostly of the stamina proc variety.

It wont be all bad. Magicka DK will be restored to v1.3 superiority. To balance it out stam sorc will be buffed.

Vvardenfell is the most likely next story DLC to come. And they've also talked about Murkmire in Black Marsh.

I'd really like Elsweyr to come along, but there hasn't been a peep of evidence to say it's been considered.

Well we know the next is Clockwork city; Sotha-sil

Probably just a giant dungeon though, as it's easier to make those than make entire new areas, like they did with the hist dlc

It would be cool if it can snow for christmas. Candy cane based costumes ?, I see a lot of generic Green/white and reds, and some santa/elf based DLC costumes.

No official announcement, but if they keep their quarterly pace (mentioned above), one would hope there is one coming with player housing (Update 13) ... or at the very latest Update 14 in February or March.

Daedric realm? Vaermina's one, I suppose. Quagmire or something.

It was the Spiral Skein, Mephala's realm. I expect it to be a dungeon/trial, or maybe a small DLC like TG and DB (and like Clockwork City will also probably be).

We aren't getting more than one full-size zone next year and it will be either Vvardenfell or Murkmire. IMO Vvardenfell makes more sense considering all the hints they've dropped and besides, we already got a lot of chopped up Murkmire bits in DB and SotH. However, we don't know when they started working on it so it might not be ready yet.

I really hope you're wrong.... Vvardenfell is the only thing that will make me continue my subs into 2017... the game has become stale. Vvardenfell would make it 100% worth playing again.

Most likely nothing this year. Housing & a Class Balance early next year, neither of which I count as DLC's or actual content. Which would push a proper DLC with new content closer to the 1 year anniversary of DB which launched in May this year.

We're already at 7 months since a new zone was introduced. Don't go expecting anything major until Housing/Class Balance is in the game.

We can be 99% certain it's coming in 2017. It's been turned up through datamining for a heck of a long time now. Whether it's the first DLC or not, no-one knows. You can make arguments for and against with equal ease.

The good news here is that ZOS seem to have an annual tradition of announcing their DLC plan in a "Year Ahead" blog post in early January. So the worst case scenario is we'll only be in the dark for another month before we get a huge reveal and DLC strategy for most of 2017.

Vvardenfell or the clockwork city.

I think Murkmire was scrapped and it's assets used in the recent dungeon DLC, maelstrom arena and dark brotherhood. Likely because of how poorly received Craglorn was.

Vvardenfell will need a lot of work to get those nostalgia juices flowing, otherwise ZOS will be torn apart by all the Morrowind fans who expected a trip down memory lane.

Morrowind is turning 15 years next year, too. 2017 is a great year to release Vvardenfell because of that.

I expect Vvardenfell to be a very special DLC, maybe even an Expansion Pack.

I expect it to go like this :

January - Housing/Furniture Crafting update along with Magicka rebalance

May : Vvanderfell - possibly including Clockwork city . May 2017 will be the 15th year anniversary since Morrowind's release so they could easily release it amongst much fanfare

August - Clockwork City if not released with Vvardenfell. Ties in with previous expansion and main story. It is possible that Vvardenfell is split into 2 parts just like Lower and Upper Craglorn. If that is the case then I expect the second part to be released now.

December - Bit hard to guess this far out. Perhaps Spiral Skein/ Mephala's Realm as a small Oblivion realm placed at the same level of magnification as the Coldharbour map, however much smaller than the Coldharbour map, fitting with TG and DB styled DLCs

I expect a new trial with either Clockwork City or Mephala's realm and new Dungeons with Vvanderfell.

Murkmire- perhaps as the large zone update for 2018 if not released in 2017? I am hoping it is not a small zone like the Gold Coast and released in the summer 2017

This is all speculation. I look forward to hearing the actual line-up

OK... though I was kinda hoping for January already, and housing in December...

I know I probably live under a rock, but when you guys mention a magica rebalance, does this mean mag is going to be nerfed or buffed? Sorry, its hard to keep up with all the nerfing and buffing going down all the time...
