Yeah and most of the complaints which I have read about Eso Live was about the length and how "cringe" it felt to watch. Then later down the line the viewer count just dropped like a stone (if I recall right) and then later down the line they just stopped it all together.Nobody wants to sit through a 1+ hour video unless it's highly entertaining or you're being tested on it. And from experience, a lot of industry support staff isn't comfortable speaking extemporaneously on filmed segments, much less live ones. And that's okay.
although I wouldn't be surprised if the toxic nature of the Twitch chat was also a factor

Yeah, people asking them to address longstanding issues that have been neglected for literally years. People asking about PvP (which was ignored at the time) people asking for bug fixes, balance changes, and calling for an end to cheaters in the game. Sounds like a lot of passion but not that toxic.

ESO needs a developer blog. That lets staff members say what they want, in their own voice and at their own pace. And we don't have to sift through minutes of filler talk to find information.
