That ramp on the right side is terrifyingly steep. Imagine when road conditions are icy.
...I can see it now, 30 players fighting at the top of the arch lol

That's why taxes are paid. The Elf Lord Crown through his government collect taxes from the elves and cats and there will be a crew that maintains the bridge, including de-icing in the winters as needed.
Remove Alessia bridge from Cyrodiil and move it to the battlegrounds next year. Problem solved.
The Alessia bridge symbolizes many players need for a death match type of arena. I persoanlly dont care for such a place but it draws away from the PVP objectives which is causing alot of bickering in zone chat. The bridge fight hurts AD more so than any other alliance IMO.
As you said, your connection is bad, try to fix it firstly.@ZOS_BrianWheeler this is a plea to re-evaluate the Alessia Bridge in Cyrodiil.
I understand the value choke-points, but the bridge near Alessia is just TOO chokey. I play on a 1.5mbps T1 connection, and even if the campaign server happens to be low-lag, I often get lagged out and a forced disconnect at Alessia Bridge due to the sheer number of players and abilities being fired on such a tiny area. A hundred meters away from the bridge on either side and my connection is fine. There are other points on the map that can cause similar problems, but this point is in a MUCH higher traffic area.
I believe a very simple but effective fix would be to double size of the entire structure, creating two distinct/separate doorways with separated pathways over the bridge. The doors could also be a little wider.
I would really appreciate some relief at this choke-point. Thanks for reading!
A 1.5 mbps connection is not that fast at all. You are talking like this is some kind of awesome connection and it would have been about 25 years ago but compared to today's standards that is slow. I have been able to fight at alessia bridge without any problems and obviously many other people can as well.

It's the perfect place to test builds for everyday cyro play, and to warm up your group. If Battlegrounds ever are added, the bridge should be the first one. Adding iconic battle areas of cyro would be an obvious choice.

Heh, not actually a bad idea. Some of the best fights I've ever had weren't around keeps, but were
- Trying to capture the flag at a resource
- When we took a scroll into the mountain and fought for it in there
- Fights for control of Bruma and Cropsford
- Alessia Bridge
I literally have no memorable fights at keeps, because it's usually just trying to avoid enemy siege before running inside.
