✭✭✭Yes, there are good guilds out there. I belong to 4.
Now, what are you looking for in a guild? The ones I belong to have no mandatory fees or mandatory attendance [although if you haven't signed in for a month you will be kicked unless there are extenuating circumstances, like deployment]. However since I don't like pvp that much, none of mine focus on that. Trials/pledges are optional. However two of them are really helpful for new players, or players who have been away for a while. We help out anyone who wants to be a crafter. We make gear for guildies for free, under cp levels. We do crafting for all guildies for free, even cp160 stuff if you have the mats. People will show up to help at a dolmen or boss or delve.
None of my guilds would be good for anyone who wants to focus on pvp or do trials/pledges exclusively.

✭✭✭✭✭Yep, the Best Guild could be the most low key collection of players who just help each other out when needed or able, to a small family/group that don't want to play with anyone else, to a guild of players who just like to laugh and joke and cut up to players who want to knuckle down and finish that vet dungeon or trial 5 seconds faster than they did the last time to players who's only goal in the game is map domination in PvP.

Ir0nB34r✭✭✭That is just a broad question.. There is no metric to determine whether a guild is better than another. You just have to think about what qualities you want in one then find one that has them.

1) Social/Casual Guilds~ Just fun and helpful people doing stuff.
2) Trade Guilds~ Centered around buying/selling
3) RP Guilds~ Role Play
4) Trials Guilds~ Trials are the 12 man delvs
5) PvP guilds~ Folks who focus on the Alliance War
6) Crafting Guilds~ For crafters and those wanting to level those skill lines
And there are those that have aspects of all. I saw you are on PC. If you are on NA, I have a great and helpful guild that love helping newbies. So "best guild" is relative and there are TONS of guilds out there, large and small.

✭It boils down to what you want really.
I love my own guild above all other guilds, and it's a complete mess. We have hardcore raiders, roleplayers, and pvp heads mixed with level 12 players who try to sell Ta & Flint through the guildstore.
<< that is now I ended up with 3 tanks in a group for WGT II pledge, as a healer.
