So all crafted sets the head of Red Mountain is all basic style the rest is locked to only Ash Mountain. Sets like warlock are Breton style and can only ever be that style Black Rose can be any of the three alliances so it can be changed to Imperial style.
The wording is off it works 100% and anything with more then one style as its style drop.

How is having a mobile banker helpful to your crafter...?
I bought the Imperial Edition because I thought being able to change the style of my gear would be awesome. I also LOVED the look of the heavy Imperial chest piece, so this was an easy choice. Sadly it rarely works. It works fine on the gear you craft yourself, BUT WHY WOULDN'T I JUST CRAFT IT IN IMPERIAL TO BEGIN WITH DURRRR.
Anyway, with One Tamriel we gained a lot of new sets, so crafted sets don't suit my purposes at all anymore. I tried upgrading my Plague Doctor to Imperial, and guess what?
Yeah, no option to convert it. Now I'm cool with not being able to convert the undaunted pieces, and I never expected that to work. But why can't I change a simple Breton style (Plague Doctor) into Imperial?
Maybe change the wording a little. "Allows you to convert SOME of your gear to the Imperial Style.".
Can we please get this fixed? I'm on the verge of tears here.
Thank you.

Nowhere does it list what services you actually get or more to the point, what services you don't get. You have to go trawling through the net for that information. I wonder how many people bought the vendor thinking they'd be able to repair their items or use the banker for guild stores. Not saying those features should have been included, I'm saying it should be made clear that they aren't included. We shouldn't need to second guess what the items we're buying entail.

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I'm genuinely curious.
Oh, and as for the thread topic, yeah, boo!
Sadly, I doubt ZoS will ever change this or give us transmog due to the impact it would have on... various things.
Sure ya'll can fill in those blanks.
Shortage of the Nickel Trait????? I have over 300 of them ..... They are out there, you just need to loot them .....fgoron2000 wrote: »one reason I can think of, that you wouldn't craft in imperial, if you have an imperial char, is, a shortage of nickel mats...another is that your imperial isn't leveled sufficiently in the particular crafting skill, but that your alt who is a skilled crafter is not an imperial...

however, i believe those features should have been included.

So my Dark Elf Tryxus has to wear those filthy Argonian style Robes of Mother's Sorrow instead of converting them to Imperial? Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!
Couldn't agree more but ZOS is probably using this tactic to sell costumes. Some of the best sets in the game are using ugly motifs. e.g. Viper = Argonian, Necropotence = Argonian, Spriggan = Bosmer, etc.azoriangaming wrote: »i agree with the op this is totally annoying that you can't change none crafted sets

Contradiction. How can the wording be off while it works 100% ?
The wording says allows you to convert your gear to the imperial style, if there's an item you can't convert then it doesn't fully allow you and then it doesn't work 100%

You can change any set that comes in multiple styles if it comes in just one style all the time then it can't be changed.
It's not like bad tool tips are new for ZoS. But that's how the conversion works.

As I said earlier, you also can't seem to convert gear crafted by other players, even if it's bound to you. The only two things I've been able to convert is
- Gear crafted by myself
- IC gear (Shield Breaker)
