Okay guys seems like a like for confusion here you can convert all gear and weapons to Imperial style if it comes it more then one style.

So all crafted sets the head of Red Mountain is all basic style the rest is locked to only Ash Mountain. Sets like warlock are Breton style and can only ever be that style Black Rose can be any of the three alliances so it can be changed to Imperial style.

The wording is off it works 100% and anything with more then one style as its style drop.

Contradiction. How can the wording be off while it works 100% ?

The wording says allows you to convert your gear to the imperial style, if there's an item you can't convert then it doesn't fully allow you and then it doesn't work 100%

He probably means that he can pass items from the crafter to his other chars without having both of them run to a banker in a city.

I just put on a costume whenever I use a set in a style unappealing to me. But I still feel that you should be able to convert any set to imperial if you bought it.

Can we please get this fixed? I'm on the verge of tears here.

Because I have all non researched trait pieces in storage for future research and I can quickly check which traits i still require when at work stations. If it wasn't for the mobile banker I'd be running to the bank in each city, with all 4 characters to check if i had picked up any other trait pieces I required. Instead it's just a case of pulling up the banker and quickly checking if that well-fitted heavy helm is needed for storage or not. Crafting aside, when I'm out and about too, I can just store all the useful set pieces in the bank without clogging up my inventory. Because you run into merchants regularly, having a mobile banker also means i just need to visit cities when i want to access guild stores and deconstruct items.

I bought the banker during the last crown sale on PS4, so I got 5500 crowns for the price of 2500cr. I would never have paid the full regular 5000cr price. It's easily my best crown purchase barring my first crown mount.

Shortage of the Nickel Trait????? I have over 300 of them ..... They are out there, you just need to loot them .....

Not to mention you can just buy them from the vendor with the other racial style materials.

I think they should have been included too, but that's a different debate altogether. Had i not included that caveat, I'd have been lynched by the anti-P2W crowd and that wasn't the point I was attempting to put over.

To add on to this, it seems you can't convert gear crafted by other players either. I don't see the problem seems the item piece gets bound to your account once converted, so it's not like you can give out free Imperial transmogs.

Couldn't agree more but ZOS is probably using this tactic to sell costumes. Some of the best sets in the game are using ugly motifs. e.g. Viper = Argonian, Necropotence = Argonian, Spriggan = Bosmer, etc.

Perhaps the code for the imperial edition hasn't been updated for the dropped sets yet since it came out march last year.

You can change any set that comes in multiple styles if it comes in just one style all the time then it can't be changed.

It's not like bad tool tips are new for ZoS. But that's how the conversion works.

As I said earlier, you also can't seem to convert gear crafted by other players, even if it's bound to you. The only two things I've been able to convert is

- Gear crafted by myself
- IC gear (Shield Breaker)

As I said earlier, you also can't seem to convert gear crafted by other players, even if it's bound to you. The only two things I've been able to convert is

- Gear crafted by myself
- IC gear (Shield Breaker)

The crafted gear by other players must be a bug but I have crafter for everything so I make my whole gear. IC changes style based on alliances so it qualifies.
